None of the trailers for this have got me excited to see it yet. I'm hyped up by default because I really enjoyed First Class and Days of Future Past, but it's not like I can't wait another 2 months for it to get here.
So I recently continued watching Jessica Jones, because S2 of Daredevil unlocks very soon, and I don't want to miss any references.
God, I hate to be the special snowflake, but am I the only one who despises the series? I'm actually striggling while watching (1st world problems) it, that's why I stopped at the 6th episode back in November.
It's certainly not awful (even though I wish it was, it would be easy to not care): the cinematography is nice, it's lit realy well, the sets are really good, the acting is mostly top notch; but the scripts are so bad that none of it matters. The cringeworthy dialogue, the edginess for the sake of edginess, the fact that the main character is so unlikeable, I sometimes find myself rooting for the "villains".
When it was released the response seemed generally positive; this thread seemed to be filled with "it's not Daredevil, but it's good".
Am I crazy? I know it's a very unfocused post, but I got really flustered in the middle of an episode, that I thought of sharing.

I completely agree with you. I couldn't get past the first episode of Jessica Jones because I couldn't stand the main character or story at all.

I forced myself to watch all of Jessica Jones simply because its story is tied to the MCU and I don't want to watch Daredevil and miss something because it was in JJ.

I liked Jessica Jones just as much as Daredevil personally. They did a great job telling the story of a rape survivor with film noir and superhero elements.
About 8 minutes till DD season 2 is out right? Time to go lay in bed and watch as many episodes as I can before I have to sleep and get up early for an appointment :(
