As much as I love the symbiotes, I feel like introducing them in the first movie would be a bit much for a relatively new Spider-Man to deal with. I always figured that they could do some classic Spidey villain in the first film, introduce the black suit in the second, and then have the third film introduce Venom. Granted, we would be in like Phase 6 by that time, but the last thing we need is another rushed symbiote story.
Besides, wasn't Sony planning on making a standalone Venom movie, away from the MCU and Spider-Man? It doesn't make a lot of sense for them to introduce a standalone Venom and then have the symbiotes and eventually a different Venom in the MCU.

If Homecoming is really one of the options for the movie title, I don't see how they can do a stand alone venom movie unless it's directly connected to the MCU in some way. Also, again if it is homecoming and is referencing the comics then we could get black suit spidey. It could just be black suit spidey and Norman trying to do something with other symbiotes. But honestly, I don't know what they're going to do. However, I am definitely excited for any chance at symbiotes to become a thing in the MCU as well as spiderman.

[sp]Apparently he has healing powers in the comics. The writers kinda dug their own graves (no pun intended) with Kilgrave since by the end of the season he had become extremely powerful. I hope he does come back because he is one of my favorite MCU villains and he would feel wasted otherwise.[/sp]
