I'm listening to Holland talk about Spiderman and he sounds so young and in his interview on the red carpet seems very high school parker like. Can't wait to see him in the film.
Also [sp] Nick Fury [/sp] is apparently coming back for Infinity Wars. I'm excited for the embargo to lift tomorrow, can't wait to read full reviews, with our without spoilers. I just want to see in depth discussion about Black Panther and Spider Man as the newcomers.

A bit trippy, eh?
I hope there's at least some hint of Dormammu in the movie. It's too soon to have him play a major role, but I want to know he's a presence in the MCU.

I don't think I could do that, reacting to explosions that aren't there or all the fake hitting. Buuuuuut I guess that's why I'm not a multi-millionaire and a box office magnet.

i really hope they break away from the formula a bit on this one. the groundwork is there for something more unusual

Reviews for CW are starting to drop. The superhero trilogy curse has apparently been broken.
Marvel has a better grip on Captain America than any of their heroes, and it can be said with confidence that the three movies come together to create the greatest superhero trilogy of all time
Or not. I guess they accidentally put it up early
Matching its blockbuster scale and spectacle with the smarts of a great, grown-up thriller, *Captain America: Civil War* is Marvel Studios’ finest film yet. There. We said it again.
I love the quote from the film that one character says to Spider-Man [sp] “I don’t know if you’ve been in a fight before,” he’s told by one opponent, “but there’s not usually this much talk.”[/sp]
I really should stop reading about this movie. It sounds incredible, but I'm eating up every bit of info that leaks into my grubby little palms. I really need to get away from Marvel online until I see the movie.
If there’s a risk of the Marvel ‘formula’ becoming stale, there isn’t any evidence of that here. Civil War isn’t just a damn-near-perfect popcorn crowd-pleaser; it doesn’t offer any easy answers for its combatants, or the world going forward. Team Cap or Team Iron Man? The real winner here is Team Marvel.
yay we're getting [sp] Antman vs Spiderman [/sp]

oooh. They say that [sp] Holland's Spider-man threatens to steal the entire film. [/sp] Each review just makes me more and more and more hyped for this. just under 3 more weekssssssss
Man my old boss is at the premier and met all the stars last night and just got out of seeing Civil War. She said it was amazing btw.
There's also a dark side to that because you're not very likely for Sony to get the same talent in presenting Spidey than CW did.

Marvel is apparently handling the actual production, with Sony handling funds, if the thread in SH is accurate.
Which is to say, Thats essentially what Feige said.
So no worries.
Yeah but they won't be getting THIS team is what I'm saying, as this team is moving on to When Thanos met Death, which is why I said CW instead of Marvel. Marvel did make Thor 2 and Iron man 2, after all.

Yeah but they also did Ant-Man, Iron Man, GoTG, etc.
Have a little faith.
Thor 2 and Iron Man 3 were the only movies I didn't particularly care for.
And even then, Thor 2 was just boring to me, not bad. Iron Man 3 however, I did think was pretty bad.
Review embargo's ended, so here they come:
Variety:
The shaming of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will continue apace — or better still, be forgotten entirely — in the wake of “Captain America: Civil War,” a decisively superior hero-vs.-hero extravaganza that also ranks as the most mature and substantive picture to have yet emerged from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Very much an “Avengers” movie in scope and ambition if not title (the conspicuous absence of Thor and Hulk notwithstanding), this chronicle of an epic clash between two equally noble factions, led by Captain America and Iron Man, proves as remarkable for its dramatic coherence and thematic unity as for its dizzyingly inventive action sequences; viewers who have grown weary of seeing cities blow up ad nauseam will scarcely believe their luck at the relative restraint and ingenuity on display.
When Marvel Studios began ambitiously building towards the first Avengers movie, many openly wondered: how can they do this? Many times over the years, notably in Sam Raimi’s bloated Spider-Man 3, too many characters had clogged up the screen, diluting those films of any real focus. This was a legitimate concern for Marvel and for The Avengers, a movie that was going to star not one, but seven superheroes. Flash forward to 2016 and seven superheroes suddenly seems like an intimate gathering. Now Marvel has arrived with Captain America: Civil War, the latest in their progressively expanding franchise, with a lineup that includes 12 superheroes and three villains. Have we reached peak superhero? Is this finally, once and for all, just too much?
NOPE.

Featuring what's arguably the best ever screen depiction of Spider-Man as well as a cool new hero in Black Panther, Captain America: Civil War can't quite recapture the emotional and cerebral strengths of its predecessor, The Winter Soldier. Its central villain is ultimately lackluster and its final act, while dramatic, lacks the energy and effectiveness of the central action set-piece that assembles the Avengers in instant-classic fashion.
