This movie takes a huge shit on BvS
Who would have guessed, taking your time to do the team up thing actually pays off
They pulled the teamup thing off flawlessly 4 years ago. I'm talking more about [sp]two protagonists fighting each other because of clashing motivations where you have sympathy for both sides, and an antagonist who conspired to bring them against each other by manipulating both. but in this film, character motivations made sense and there was a lot going on beneath the surface, which batman v superman utterly failed to depict.[/sp]
Can you guys please stop putting salt in my Dawn of Justice wound?
That would be ... kind of you
How dumb did Crossbones look in his exoskeleton?

Iron Punisher looked pretty nice imo, maybe a bit over the top but whatever.
Don't click unless you've seen the movie obviously: [sp]Kinda weird how they just killed him off in the first 10 minutes of the movie after the whole end of Winter soldier hinting at bigger things.[/sp]

[sp] it didn't help that batman and superman basically had 0 reason to fight but after their 5 minute punch up they were the best of friends
Meanwhile the relationship of cap and iron man is probably never going to recover, 1 ordinary guy managed to completely fuck up the avengers more than loki ever did[/sp]

So they essentially pulled a Batroc with Winter Soldier?
I enjoy that they had to put Black widow on Tony's team just to have a useless character
I don't see your point really. Clint was just as useful. Ant-Man too. Spider-Man as well. The story could have happened without them, they were there mostly because the conflict affects all of them and they are good characters and they are amazing when fighting
I love how your comment evolved each time I accidentally came back to this thread :v:
I feel sorry for DC fans. Marvel continues to hit it out of the park with its movies. They made an Ant-Man movie and one with a talking raccoon in it for chrissake, but DC can’t even get Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman to work well in a movie together.
I for one has yet to see Batman v Superman so I can't really say anything.
Seeing Civil War on saturday in a special showing. Really fucking excited. :v:
It's undeniable how much of a 'look at how the professionals do it' Civil War is to BvS.

It's a coincidence, really. Unless they saw it coming.
Amazing movie, better than Avengers imo.
May 6th can't come soon enough.
About the second post-credit scene
[sp]What was that hologram thing with a spider head and circling things around it Peter showed on the ceiling?[/sp]
Something useful Tony created for him perhaps
Idk why but up until like this monday I though Civil War was coming out in the US on the 29th
another goddamn week i can wait it but i dont wanna

I imagine the people at DC who suggested BvS did so after they found out about about Civil War, hoping to steal the hype.
Both movies have some pretty strong similarities

Came out yesterday here.
Man it was so good, came out today here.
Though I gotta say, the effects at the beginning of the airport fight were really awful

There was an interview that said, if Batman Vs Superman wasn't a thing, then Civil War would have never been created.

Never have I seen an opinion that was more wrong.
or baron strucker in avengers 2
"Captain America has an assortment of villains we could make a modern adaptation to!"
"Yeah no, let's just [sp]kill them off in the first ten minutes so to get the CA fans hyped and move onto other stuff[/sp]"
Great film. Saw it at midnight so it has sort of washed over me and feels like a dream.
It's perhaps not the best MCU film ever. But it's certainly somewhere in the top 3. The first part repeats the same message and takes ages to kick off.
The airport scene seen in the trailers is the greatest action sequence I've ever seen in a super hero film. Very minor Spider-man dialogue spoiler from that scene: [sp]Somebody throws a truck at Spider-man. Seconds later the truck comes hurtling back as you hear Spidey shout "I THINK YOU DROPPED THIS[/sp] Perfect
Never have I seen an opinion that was more wrong.
My opinion on ant-man was that it was fun on the first watch, but was so damn boring on the second go.
It's an okay film, but certainly not one to be remembered.
I went to see it at the midnight showing last night... I teared up and nearly started crying over Spider-man perfection...
My new favourite MCU film, though to gauge that my previous favourite was Ant-Man.
