Something that kinda comes to my mind now is that the world wants the Avengers to be put in check but nobody seem to care that Tony created Ultron and got away with it
The more I think of Spider-Man the more content I get. They nailed him in so many fucking levels. When this song played I almost cried of joy, this has been one of my favorite bands lately

Andrew Garfield Spidey listened to Coldplay.
Tom Holland Spidey listens to Alt-J.
Tom Holland is best Spider-man confirmed
damn why does rest of world get it first but america is left in the dust
All MCU films debut in the UK first. I would guess it's related to some kind of deal. If I had to speculate I'd say there's a contract that lets them film in the UK for really cheap in exchange for a premiere.
the best part of the movie is that they refused to namedrop ultron other than referencing events from avengers 2
tchaka just goes "our vibranium was grossly used to create weapons"
tony does mention ultron though
yeah think so
Whether it's true or not, the number of lines is still arbitrary to how good a character is played isn't compared to another.
At the same time, it's kinda weird the main character of one movie said less than a secondary, late addition to an ensemble movie who only appears for [sp]30 minutes or so[/sp], right?
Just came home from seeing it.
I require more [del]pictures of[/del] Spider-Man.
Spiderman: Civil War confirmed? :v:
I don't get the hate for [sp]Zemo. I thought he was great. He didn't distract from the story and he had some really nice motivations, plus a great performance. He didn't get killed off AND he won. I would say him playing the video of Stark's parents being murdered to Tony was one of the worst things a villain has done so far in the MCU. A real emotional punch that lead to a Cap/Tony fight I was literally on the edge of my seat for. I've never been so worried that somebody was going to die.
He's left a big impact on the MCU. The Avengers are going to have a totally new lineup. Cap is leading what seems to be his own Avengers. Rhodey is paralysed. Most the MCU heroes are on the run.[/sp]
Spiderman: Civil War confirmed? :v:
No. Not at all. He's the hero in it least really. He's just very good so people are talking about him. The 30 minute thing people said is an overeacion. I'd say Peter Parker is in the film 5/6 minutes. Spidey himself is on screen for close to 10 and most of the time he's in the background or sharing a scene with somebody else.
It 100% is a Captain America film. It ties up a few plot points from the first two films, Steve is very much the focus. It feels like a Winter Soldier sequel. The Civil War is a side plot which doesn't feel forced, but more like a stem from the Winter Soldier. The film is called Civil War, sure, but the most important part of it is Captain America. You couldn't drop him from the title as easily. You couldn't even call it Iron Man: Civil War. Or Avengers: Civil War. [spoilers for future of MCU]. [sp]This is only the start of Civil War too. Expect it to have an impact on Spidey and certainly continue to be in the spotlight for Avengers. This is only the first two days[/sp]
Still need to see the movie, but I've got nobody to go with, and I just don't like going to the theater alone.

Someone mentioned this in a thing i read, and now i need it to be done.
For the Punisher Netflix Show.
Thomas Jane as Jigsaw.
No one even talking about black panther
I just watched TWS in preparation for CW tomorrow, and it's only due to the subtitles that I noticed they mentioned Stephen Strange as a "menace to Hydra".
What could possibly he have done to be a threat to them?
I don't think he already had his powers at the time TWS happened.

The system they use had hundreds of thousands of people if not millions of who could become potential threats to Hydra. His name was on the list, and it was just a little nod to fans.
Just saw it last night. Great movie.
The only complaint I really have is that [sp]Zemo, IMO, feels like they just pulled another Mandarin. I mean his performance was great and all but to me, it felt like he's just another guy who happens to have the same name as Zemo. I was waiting for the mask :(.[/sp]
[sp]On a slightly unrelated note, with certain characters now being in the MCU (Netflix shows included), they can establish literally any iteration of the Thunderbolts if they wanted to.[/sp] :v:
Just got home from the movie. It was bretty good. SOme things felt off/not so good though.

Maybe he already has. We don't know when the movie is being set

Did you guys know Doctor Strange is a lazy weirdo who eats raw onions?
Ah yes, the Marvel cookbook that doesn't teach you how to cook
I'm looking forward towards seeing Civil War. I am glad from hearing it is 10x better then Age of Dulltron
Wasn't as good as the hype made it out to be. [sp] I wish Ironman had killed Bucky, it would have made for a much better ending.[/sp]
So... [sp]is Crossbones just dead? Seems like a waste. I used to think they were gonna end the Civil War movie with Cap's "death" in the hands of Crossbones/Sharon so they can set up Bucky/Sam being the new cap in the future. They didn't show his body though so uhh... whatever, I guess.[/sp]
I saw Civil War last night and honestly feel like it was more of an Avengers movie than a Cpt. America movie. Like, all Cap does is [sp]be a huge dick who goes all "oh no international treaties are against my freedoms"[/sp], and then [sp]"oh hey Iron Man please save the guy who murdered your parents", "oh no Iron Man you blew my friends not-actually-an-arm off, I'm going to almost murder you and then go rogue and break into a prison to release all these more-or-less war criminals now",[/sp] and then finally [sp]"alright Iron Man I'm going to allow you to forgive me for all this shit that I did to you and the Avengers because I'm so great and american and that means disregarding international politics is okay also listen to this super patriotic fucking trumpet in the background"[/sp]
I was so salty. And he even does this all because he got [sp]his views cemented after some speech at a funeral, like what the fuck even[/sp]
To be fair guys, for the little I know about the Marvel comics, the whole Civil War event was a huge writing clusterfuck to being with
I have yet yo watch it but my friend told me he didn't like it? I mean, weird since he likes superhero movies and I do too but I enjoyed all the Marvel movies so far and I think this won't be an exception. Is it bad or just average?
I haven't seen it either but I've heard it's one of the best MCU movies.

It's good but I wasn't blown away by it or anything. It felt like an avengers movie tbh .I would recommend watching it though coz it had some pretty good scenes especially with ant man
felt good seeing Bucky and Steve bro it up

To be fair the last point is straight up a speech by Cap that got repurposed

The point of the movie is that Cap won't sign the treaty precisely because [sp]it would mean surrendering responsibility. The Avengers would be beholden to a third party, and after the events of the Winter Soldier, Cap has learnt that the safest hands are indeed his own. Organisations can be misused and agendas perverted.[/sp]
[sp]You seem to have missed out on all the Cap-centric stuff that happened in his film, even when the film itself proves the points Cap is trying to make. Even Tony admits it's a half-measure when he shows up at the end, and says Ross doesn't know he's there, because that was the right thing to do.[/sp]
And that whole speech is basically one Cap makes in the comics, I liked it. [sp]His Views are cemented by the woman that got him into this whole shebang, they agreed on almost everything and he turned to her for guidance. And she offered guidance, even if it was in a funeral speech.[/sp]
