who cares x men 3 was hot garbage and they even teased him coming back anyway in a post credits scene where he literally hijacks some other paralyzed bald dudes body or something [editline]4th May 2016[/editline] apparently that was his unintroduced and completely unheard of identical twin brother he hijacked
lol these retcons are so sad "professor transplanted his mind into the body of his identical unintroduced twin", "loki killed a life decoy"
lol these retcons are so sad "professor transplanted his mind into the body of his identical unintroduced twin", "loki killed a life decoy"
AoS spoilers:[sp]Loki killed Coulson. He was dead for days[/sp]
lol these retcons are so sad "professor transplanted his mind into the body of his identical unintroduced twin", "loki killed a life decoy"
The professor hijacking another body isn't a retcon, it was introduced in the third installment, hinted at during the movie when they show a class exactly about this kind of thing, and then executed at the very end of the movie when the professor actually pulls it off.
I'm not sure but it's an other alternate reality ? same as Eric is in team with the X-Men wich is normally is not supposed to be, Or I think in second in the X-Men: First Class they have changed something who Xavier is not dead by the Phoenix.
[sp]nah that can't be it, Logan has memories of killing Jean and it's a big plot point in the Wolverine that he can't get over her death, and there's a stinger at the end of that film leading into Days of Future Past. He came back but we don't really know how. Maybe he got surgery on the new body he hijacked to look like his old self?[/sp]
They couldn't even get him a duplicate body with a functioning spine
I'm excited, tomorrow I'm going to see a 7 pm showing of Civil War with a group of friends.
Infinity War part 1 and 2 are not the final names of the films and they will be retitled soon
So glad that Russo brothers direct it.
So glad that Russo brothers direct it.
Especially with what they did for the Captain America sequels, they are really good directors for the MCU.
I'm betting he'll be brought back in Infinity War
I really hope not. Fox are doing him way better in their X-Men movies (which still look great, very excited for Sansa Grey in Apocalypse), and having more fake deaths would really remove all threat and danger from the films. [editline]4th May 2016[/editline] By the way, is anyone else expecting [sp]Janet Van Dyne to be brought back from the 'Quantum Realm'[/sp] with the aid of Dr. Strange in Ant-Man 2? Really seems plausible with [sp]how it's named a realm (since Doc Strange is all about the different realities and mind-bending physics and stuff)[/sp], although we still don't know how exactly they're going to finally introduce magic into the universe. I think [sp]Janet would make an excellent if predictable villain, considering she's a massive bitch in the comics, and would have serious problems re-integrating into the world after all this time. She could even kill Hank/he could sacrifice himself to protect Scott/Hope, and then maybe we'd get less ill-informed people saying that Pym is a wife-beater when it was a miscommunication between writer and artist when one panel was drawn[/sp]
Disney is not going to make Jane a villain. They might make her an antihero for one movie, they are not going to make her an utter asshole. Not happening.
Disney is not going to make Jane a villain. They might make her an antihero for one movie, they are not going to make her an utter asshole. Not happening.
I guess that makes sense. Kinda sucks though. [sp]I thought that was the whole reason for Zemo[/sp] in Civil War, [sp]they couldn't commit to making Iron Man do anything that was really bad so they concocted some sort of terrorist who knows exactly how to pull the strings of the Avengers. It worked well though, I'm not complaining. Well I'm not complaining too much, it still sucks that Zemo didn't even get the mask or anything, but hopefully with him being left alive, there's still potential for that. Really liked how they left the Civil War sort of open too, hoping to see some serious dick moves from Tony in future movies, which I imagine we'll see along with him making the other kind of dick moves with Maria Hill sometime since Pepper is sort of out of the picture.[/sp]
I think a female recurrent villain is a great idea, and the reasons why she won't be don't have anything to do with character development or emotional projection and everything to do with politics. We probably won't see a female villain until phase 5 or 6, and then the protagonist they're set against will most probably not be a white male, again for pretty plain reasons, which is sad cause I think of a couple that would be pretty awesome onscreen, like Hel. Second Captain Marvel movie will probably be the first go round for a female villain.
Bad guy, sure. The string pulling plan making speech crafting minor character killing unrepentant narcissist stane/nu mandarin style? Prolly not. She'll prolly be a force of nature that Loki stirs up and thus goes out righting some wrong he partially committed with typical asgardian "it's not really a lesson in manners until the planet's on fire" schtick they've already established. I'd like to be surprised and see her do the deeds and planning from the start, but I'm also not holding my breath.
Enchantress could be good but then again, a big part of her has to do with seducing people so yeah
How long until Agents of SHIELD is cancelled? Realistically?
Three more years.
does anyone care about agents of shield anymore? i'm willing to bet the marvel people just completely forgot it exists at this point the recurring water cooler conversation over at marvel studios must be "damn, they're STILL going?"
Agents of SHIELD (ABC) 0.9/3 2.85m The Flash (The CW) 1.2/4 3.03m My question is why the hell are both of these shows attempting to compete with NCIS/CSINO, they'd both probably have a shit ton more viewers on a monday or wednesday night.

I just don't (and never have) given a shit about AoS/Agent Carter. It just seems so lowbrow and tacky compared to the rest of the Marvel stuff; especially when compared to their other forays into TV.

I'm a big fan of the Inhumans so I don't have much choice in watching AoS. It's still the MCU, and everything that happens is still relevant to the movies, whether everyone at Marvel agrees or not.
I still watch it, and while the quality may be going down in my eyes, its still pretty good. Im one of those weirdos that liked the first season more than the rest.
I really like AoS right now, but going back to Season 1 is really jarring - it's fun, has a great team dynamic, and is generally just an action-spy show. Now.. it's much darker and I dare say edgier.
I'm also liking it a lot more now. It's sort of become its own thing.
Infinity War part 1 and 2 are not the final names of the films and they will be retitled soon
I can see one being called Infinity War (as that's the comic plot they're leading to anyway) and the other being Secret Wars.
Woops might have accidentally bought Winter Soldier and GoTG on bluray today. Got them together for £15 or something, seemed like a decent offer. They're the first blu rays I've ever bought so I'm a bit re-hyped to watch them again as I haven't seen either since they released at the cinema :v:
Simplest would be Infinity Gauntlet followed by Infinity War. Be sad if they never got around to anything being called Secret War, though.
I'd love to see a secret wars film. Though it wouldn't work without Doom.
Saw Civil War today. [SP]The scene with Bucky and Falcon in the Beetle, holy fuck my sides.[/SP]
hello my dudes, I have come to tell you that I, too, have seen First Avenger: Confrontation (that's the name they decided to release it by over here). I know that I'm preaching to the choir when I say that it's a fucking radical movie. However, I feel sorry for that one six-year old kid in my cinema who only wanted a movie with his favorite superheroes. All those plot revelations, especially [sp]Zemo's scenes towards the end[/sp] must be fucking scarring to a child. I rate it 8 airport's battles/10
anyone else [SP]heard cat sound durring Black Panther's soft land in airport showtime scene[/SP]?
[SP]The scene with Bucky and Falcon in the Beetle, holy fuck my sides.[/SP]
that and the following [SP]scene of them lying on the floor after knocking spidey, sweet jesus they better return Bucky in next movies just for more interactions with Falcon[/SP]
