Assuming Nick Clegg keeps his word, which laws would you want scrapped or modified?

I don't see anything wrong with CCTV in public areas to be honest. Digital economy bill absolutely has to go, loli laws and perhaps cannabis laws should go.
Congestion charge is just fine, and the trains aren't nearly as bad as they're made out to be, only problem is price.
Honestly all I could care about is the digital economy bill, overdraft charges and electoral reform, nothing else interests me.
Digital Economy Bill - Yes
Cannabis Laws - Gonna get rated dumb for this but no.
Loli laws - Yes since it's a drawing and doesn't harm anyone.
CCTV laws - I don't generally have a problem with CCTV but I guess yes.
Congestion charge - I don't live in London or intend to drive and I think it's a good idea anyway.
Tax-exempt religious organisations - Why does this even exist in the first place.
Overdraft charges - No idea
Gun control laws - Less guns = good
The Electoral system - It is flawed as it is now but they better not make it worse. If it were up to the number of votes each party got, the BNP would have gotten a seat or two.
While I don't live in Britain I may move there in the future, so I chose the laws that would affect me.
Digital Economy Bill - For obvious reasons
Cannabis Laws - If it was sold and taxed it would be a HUGE increase in government funding AND cut down on money wasted trying to enforce the current laws
Loli laws - It's a stupid "Let's ban it because we don't like it" law, last I checked things were illegal because they were harmful, not because the government doesn't approve of it
Tax-exempt religious organisations - Tax exemption should only be for charity/non-profit organisations. Churches are not non-profit
The Electoral system - Proportional representation FTW!

I don't think it has anything to do with money. If alcohol and cigerettes were currently illegal, there is no way the government would legalise them.

Prohibition doesn't work. At all. Better for the government to take advantage of it, make it easily accessable and safe than waste money on stopping it all together, which you can never do.
I want them to sort out that damn internet pirating law. They probably will as it was rushed through Parliament before the election and was not thought through properly
I agree with you on the second point, but when guns were restricted in 97 gun crime shot up. It's a social issue and gun control legislation doesn't really effect it.
And by allowing people to bear arms in public, this will solve what exactly?
And by allowing people to bear arms in public, this will solve what exactly?
Less crime around arms dealing.
I doubt the conservatives would let this through.

Uh most probably CCTV laws. Ah forgot about the DEB.
The Tories will probably do a lot of bargaining with the Lib Dems. Doesn't mean both parties will block each other on every planned reform.
Anyone voting for Gun Control or Congestion Charge is a moron
wait shit loli Is illegal?
wait shit loli Is illegal?
Yes. In UK I'd get a life sentence.
We don't have any broken laws. Keep them all.
Fine, the right to bear arms in public.
lol, just imagine, like the old west, where everyone had a gun in their holster.
Changing gun control would be ridiculous.
wait shit loli Is illegal?
As of last week yes.
The americans are doing fine with it really... It wouldnt be the end of the world just a bad thing
As for the Loli law, never knew it existed. Arrest me now :)
Kidding
Bit of a silly law, should be withdrawn people can be attracted to who or whatever they like aslong as they dont fuck that thing or animal.
Removing the weed law would be good, look at holland, they are doing fine. A coffee house in holland is a weed house. And when weed is unbanned it would just become boring and dull, most people take it to look cool and really it would just end up like alchohole...
Legalize cannabis loosen up on gun control.
How exactly would the stance on smoking weed be affected by the "no smoking in public areas" I mean surely that'd rule out coffee houses like Holland has?
Digital Economy Bill - Yes, obvious reasons.
Cannabis Laws - Yes, it's better to have it safe and taxed, than having people getting laced weed or getting killed over it in deals.
Loli laws - Yes, it's not really harming anyone.
CCTV laws - If it's in public, it's fine
Congestion charge - No, from what people are saying, it doesn't affect them much
Tax-exempt religious organisations - No, because they really aren't a charity.
Overdraft charges - No, don;t borrow money if you can't pay it back.
Gun control laws - Less guns seems to be fine as it is.
The Electoral system - No, not sure how it works over there.
Gun control(Because i want to hunt my own game without 50351734 licenses for a shotgun) EDIT: Take that back.
Cannabis(Because really, it's not THAT harmful.)
Loli(It doesn't harm anyone)
Digital economy bill
What is a Digital Economy Bill?
[editline]09:32PM[/editline]
Nevermind. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Economy_Act_2010
Make it so i can defend my house and family if anybody breaks in without being charged like a criminal.
Anyone voting for legalizing weed is ''hip'' fuck-da-polize teenager, who has no ideas about responsibility.
fuck the goverment man yeaa

No, not at all.
And by allowing people to bear arms in public, this will solve what exactly?
more responsible citizens with concealed carry = less crime.
it's not rocket science, we're not talking about the old west where everyone's walking around with six-shooters on their hips and boot spurs.
And your mindset is still gun control in America.
We really don't have a gun problem over here, we have a knife problem.
