Assuming Nick Clegg keeps his word, which laws would you want scrapped or modified?

Most of them are good laws, I picked the digital economy one.
Digital Economy Bill
Cannabis Laws
CCTV Laws
The Electoral System
I clicked gun control by accident.
I think the gun control should be more stringent that, say, Vermont, similar to Australian levels, most guns are legal, but require licenses.
Digital Economy Bill
Cannabis Laws
The Electoral System
Electronic Communications Act 2000
Seriously, according to that act just a checkbox is sufficient data to act as an Electronic Signiture binding you to whatever contract and/or terms a website operates on.
Some form of tax or legislation needs to be put in place for Banks and other financial institutions on the amount they can charge for unauthorised overdrafts or failed Direct Debits etc.
Digital Economy, CCTV, Loli. Nuff said.
What is the digital economy bill?
and CCTV?
more responsible citizens with concealed carry = less crime.
it's not rocket science, we're not talking about the old west where everyone's walking around with six-shooters on their hips and boot spurs.
This country is full of shit heads who will steal the guns and go around shooting people. Anyway, we have a much higher knife problem instead of a gun problem.

Digital Economy Bill means they can turn your internet off if you pirate.
Britain has about 1 CCTV camera to every 14 people.
Anybody who voted "gun control laws" is fucking stupid.

because it's real easy to steal a gun from somebody.

Agreed, knowing some in my area, I would not feel safe knowing that they would be allowed to carry a gun around.

I think it applies to when you just download a lot, too. No doubt a lot of power users will get prosecuted for downloading more shit than the average pleb, despite it being normal for people with even a modicum of knowledge of computers. Plus, bittorrent is a great delivery system, and who are they to say how I use something as free, as exciting, as bursting with potential for sharing as the internet? This sums it up quite well:

Keep in mind it's not just the libdems in power, it's the conservatives too, and they support the act.

Overdraft charges - No, don;t borrow money if you can't pay it back.
Have you ever had to actually pay an overdraft charge? It's extortionate to the point of scamming, I went £3 in the red due to some delayed charging + delayed money transfer and was fined £50.
It's easy to do when you aren't living on very much cash flow due to all the delays involved in financial transactions, I could just about pay it back and keep living the student life but if someone closer to the breadline was in that situation it's not a nice place to be

Gun control in Britain.
Your pro-gun arguments don't work here.

What about... Instead of "It's my right!", a more technical view:
Most people are generally good, and means well to others, they might behave like jerks, but at some level, generally good. So, if everyone carried a gun, a majority would use it for a good purpouse, and criminals would be scared shitless. Not saying people should be as wreckless as to have one at home, where people can get hurt or exposed to a shot in the dark. But, definatley in the glove compartment of a car (this only applies to people without children, of course).
Unless you hadn't noticed, most people going postal, does it in a gun-free zone, to make sure the people are defenceless.
How's that for an argument?
But by doing that your massively increasing the gun circulation in this country and in the blink of an eye our knife problem with become a gun problem.
Also the British people don't want lighter gun controls. The only party offering it- the BNP lost its council seats this last election.

Once again: We give the good guys guns, the bad guys breaks laws either way, that's why they are labeled as "criminals".
Crime is the breach of life or laws for which some governing authority (via mechanisms such as legal systems) can ultimately prescribe a conviction.
See? No criminal will go "A gun? Gee... I don't know, sounds like the cops might get mad..."
Once again your applying American gun culture to Britain.
Its not easy for criminals to get guns as it stands or our gun crime figures would be much higher than our knife crime figures.
But I'll say this again so you can take note of it- The British people don't want lighter gun control laws
Cannibis.
