gollum is cutting
Worked my legs today even though wasn't feeling the best from the heat, taking it easy. Did a set of 10 reps on the leg press 200 kg, nek minnit my nose starts to bleed. Took me about 5 minutes to clean it up and I finished my workout with blood on my shirt.
im failing on my DLs because my calluses hurt like niggins and my grip sux!!!

[QUOTE=Pandamox;38914183]if you're not bulking on at least 4k calories a day right now you should probably quit living life and just go into seclusion like gollum or something[/QUOTE]
Four thousand cals is not a magic number, im against excessive bulking aka thirty pounds per season

Learn to hold te bar its not suppose to hang but be held... Aka using your forearms. Work on grip strenth it will lessen te calluses.
Hey guys, I've been working out with weights for almost a month now. But my left deltoid muscle is getting bigger faster than my right one. It's almost an inch bigger. I do the exact same weights/reps everyday(Alternating deltoid raise). So, what should i do? More reps with right?
Btw: I'm a righty.
30 kg incline db press sets, feels so damn good.
to lift or not to lift this break. idk .also cocks

more sets for smaller side, only go as heavy as your rigt one allows and that includes reps. Keep number of sets for bigger side at minimum aka one or two.

i know that feel i can't do heavy shoulders the next day after DLs because my calluses hurt too much. try using straps if your grip is slipping from pain and not sweat. if you're not using chalk, chalk the fuck up for any heavy pull exercise
[editline]22nd December 2012[/editline]
if i didn't use chalk i probably wouldn't even be able to DL 300

had the same problem with my biceps, am i righty but left bicep was half an inch bigger. are your delts the same strength? like if you do DB shoulder press would your other delt give out before your bigger one? if that's the case, focus on DB stuff and make sure you're pushing your weaker / smaller delt more. if you're doing BB stuff just try to push more with your smaller delt. only reason one delt is bigger than the other is either a. you have a tumour or b. your form is messed up. correct your form and over time they'll balance out
lowkey just got a rediculous pump/workout using bodyweight/the bar/ 135lbs
squeezing n trying to feel everything n doing it perfect=good workout
my legs are sore from bodyweight squats for like 4 sets of 6, and I can squat, or couldve, squatted 500 for multiple reps

p sure i hold the bar correctly, forearms engaged the whole tim until my calluses start raping my feels. then i cna't even get the bar past my knees. i think my palms are just fleshy as fuck cuz i keep trying to experiment on my grip but the upper part of my palm will always bunch up like a lil bitch

i hate using straps and unfortunately the gyms i go to are beta as fuck and they dont allow challk
although i seen some biggins sneaking in chalk and the wokrers are too ascared to talk to them so i might just do it anyway

I'm thinking that you use one arm more than the other on bars.

wtf gym doesn't allow chalk is it like a crossfit faggot cardio gym or something? because without chalk GL pulling anything remotely heavy, doesn't matter how good your grip is you can't do decently heavy DLs or even BB rows without chalk
I go to a 24 hr fitness when i'm home and the gym on campus when i'm at school. both places don't allow chalk assuming they don't want the potential mess it makes

Buy some liquid chalk aka climbers chalk. Doesn't stain
I have a tradition with my curlbro friend. I force him train legs for every christmas day. The only rule is that I have to do everything I make him do. The tradition shall continue. He must not be able to walk untill the new year. I'm planning on something like 1 hour of atg squats, then deadlifts for 30 mins and some painfully long sets of calf raises. Then 30 minutes of sprint intervals in deep snow. Then more squats.
I was just doing preacher curls and iv notice a small bruise near my elbows on my biceps? Iv heard this could be a small tear? i have no discomfort or pain.

if its just a small discoloration and doesnt actually hurt then its probably just a bruise you didnt realize you got
better to go to the gym when im sick or take a couple days off and rest?
just make it a deload week. better to deload than to do nothing at all, especially if you don't deload very often
[editline]24th December 2012[/editline]
deloading helps you build muscle anyways

So I've been lifting for a while now, on and off. Just depends on what of work schedule I have. I've seen a bit of results but it is starting to flat out i guess. Maybe I don't have a good workout schedule, hell maybe I've not been doing it right. Who knows.
Any suggestions? I got a basic weight bench, dumbbells, and one of them mechanical (Pulleys and shit) "home gyms". Not looking for anything crazy complicated. Something simple but effective.

are you looking to actually build muscle and look like a sick shredded kunt or do you just want to look healthier? because if it's the first one, i'd suggest finding a gym near you and getting a membership. home gyms should only be used for when you can't make it to an actual gym for whatever reason.
