People shouldn't waste their money or time on bulk up products, just do it naturally. Put the effort in.
Do you realize how incredibly idiotic what you just said was? Obviously not. By your logic you shouldn't eat more food either, because trying to build muscle without a caloric surplus would take a lot more time and effort. [editline]30th December 2012[/editline] p.s creatine is natural lmao good luck doing anything as a mammal without ATP

Newbie here, with a quick question. If I'm finding my lifting is becoming too easy, should I increase the weight, or the amount of reps?
Newbie here, with a quick question. If I'm finding my lifting is becoming too easy, should I increase the weight, or the amount of reps?
well it depends on what you're going for. are you a powerlifter? are you bodybuilding? going for endurance only? generally, the rule goes is that if its getting easy, make the weight heavier. for me, i increase the weight every workout so i can be like zyzzbrah. gonna bench 2 hunna soon not bad for 1 yr liftan

How should I get out of a weight loss plateau?
How should I get out of a weight loss plateau?
eat less + exercise more?
I don't know if this is the right thread, but I don't know where else I would put this. What's the best way to increase my vertical? I'm doing basketball next year and I need to get my vertical up for my position. Is there some sort of program that's best for this?
I feel like I'm crushing my balls when I do deadlifts. What am I doing wrong?
the bar crushes your balls or your thighs?
the bar crushes your balls or your thighs?
thighs

just drove to 24 hr and THEY WAS CLOSED WHAT THE FUCK

I started taking whey protein a few weeks ago. I was fine for the first few days but lately i started getting nausea/migraines after I take it. Anyone else experience this or know of a solution / good alternative?

Anyone else experience this or know of a solution / good alternative?
could just be the product, there's certain brands of whey that i can't have just because they have so much flavour and are so strong that i'd need a huge glass of milk in order to dilute it enough and then i just feel sick after. it took me probably 10 different brands of whey until i found one that i think tastes great, and isn't so strong that i need tons of milk in order to dilute it enough. try to find a whey that with about 3/4 a shaker full of milk and a scoop or two of whey tastes good to you and isn't super strong. if you still feel sick after lemme know [editline]2nd January 2013[/editline]
How do i go about doin a 5x5 set? Or do i start with high weight and drop down?
if it's just a typical 5x5 set you can either do it so that each set your 5th rep is your failure rep (IE can't do any more unless you majorly disregard form) which is what i started out with, or you can have it so your rep range is around 6-8 but only do 5 reps. Usually if you do it to failure, by the 4th or 5th set you won't be able to get the same weight as the earlier sets and will either have to drop the weight in order to hit that rep range or have longer rests. really is up to you if you want to go to failure or have it close to failure, but if you're able to do 10 reps with a certain weight but only do 5 you're doing something wrong and need to up the weight
I use ON Gold Standard Whey and have never had any problems with it. Also I'm planning on buying my first lot of creatine soon (finally) and will probably just start off with 3 grams a day, anything else I should expect from it? Any brands to stay away from? Is 3 grams a day too little?
just nibble on that shit pre workout, fuck loading stages .
just nibble on that shit pre workout, fuck loading stages .
doesn't matter when you take your creatine, just take it whenever the fuck you want.
if any of you fags are using PWO with caffeine or beta alanine etc. remember to cycle it cuz there's some stupid fucks who don't cycle that shit then eventually need 5x more than they did and start doing damage to themselves
