Liftings been going great. Baseball coach finally got rid of his shitty ass workouts he had last year, now we are doing some hard ass shit.
Mondays are combinations of bench, db bench, hang cleans, hammer curls, incline db, reverse push ups, forearm curls, and a little other shit,
tuesdays we go bowling, and i win money playing pool
wednesdays are squats, kettlebell squats (mostly just atg with them), deadlifts, stiff leg deadlifts, leg curls, toe ups (squat bar and stand on your toes etc) and some other leg and back shit.
thursdays are cardio and some strength, rope workouts, where you throw and whip those heavy fuckers, kettlebell shit, tire flipping, agility,
and fridays are like half and half of monday and wednesday.
lifts have been going up steady with it.
Noticed a lil sumthin interestan about squats
I tried close stance squats the other day and I managed to squat a lot more weight with perfect form
then I moved back to normal stance squats and I also managed to keep from pretty nice n tight and the weight felt a lot lighter

So I'm having a discomfort when I attempt the Pendlay Row..
On the way up everything is fine..

But on the way down I feel a sort of "shooting" pain around here (and only on my left side!):

That (if aggravated) seems to travel down my arm where it disperses.
I've deduced that the pain only occurs when I raise my elbows past my chest in order for the bar to make contact with the torso, but if I don't go farther than parallel then this pain doesn't arise. Am I getting the most out of this exercise if I don't "squeeze" my shoulder-blades together every rep? I'm a shorter guy (5'6") so perhaps I should compensate with a much wider grip to hit my chest and still keep my elbows below parallel? Also, I can bench press just fine with the exact same grip distance without discomfort.
common problem. there are probably discrepancies between both sides, that's why it's only on your left shoulder.
hard to tell what exactly is the problem, general recommendation would be mobility work for shoulders external and internal rotation along with some pec stretches. and facepulls.
On top of my regular workouts ive started doing 25 pushups everytime i go downstairs, or upstairs in my house.
I think after a week or two ill do 25, or 30.
I actually counted how many pushups i had to do because of this and i knocked out like 100-120 so its going alright as a little time consumer at home.
lol ive done that before except it was when i got a boner i had to do 30 pushups instead of giving into fapping (no fap checking in)

Yeah i got the idea from my friend, sort of. He has one of those doorway mountable pullup / chin up / wide grip pullup bars, and every time he went through that doorway he would crack out like 3 or 4 of each.
He only started out being able to do like 1 pullup, and after a month or so he could do like 8 , so its a good way of getting shit downpat.
