i'd wish i could go :(
I'm sorry, man. Are you American? Is there any chance you could grab a ticket on the Megabus? Some groups like Secular Student Alliance and SPEAK are giving coupons for people who want them.
i bought pre-workout for the first time it's pretty good, I definitely felt a big different in awareness and energy. I bought NOXplode and my mate bought Jacked so I can try his out and see if it works better or not. how long does it take to build up a tolerance to this?
YUP [editline]17th March 2012[/editline] Why can't you go? It's during a weekend. Take the Megabus.
religious parents yo :'c [editline]18th March 2012[/editline]
Workout.
Who gets doms these days And who doesn't enjoy doms when they get them
I never used to isolate my calf muscles, but started doing so a few weeks ago. Had serious doms after doing 4 sets of calf raises to failure. Took almost an entire week before those damn doms went away. Hurt so good though.

Haven't worked out in 2 weeks, cuz I wrecked my right shoulder doing benchpress(and being sick for a week). Going to start again tomorrow.

I was benchpressing like always, and there suddenly sounded like my right shoulder exploded(like cartilage being ripped or something). So since then, my right shoulder has been crap. It's healed now, more or less. It still hurts a bit when I over-extend and such.
i BET U STILL PLAY UR DRUMS THO ( EVEN MORE POORLY THAN BEFORE)
I played a concert the day after, "hooked up" on painkillers. It hasn't had any major impact on my playing.
Do you train your Tibialis Anterior?
I feel like that gets trained enough when I'm doing martial arts. I've never seen a technique/machine for weight training it either.
I've put on about 8lbs of muscle (maybe a small amount of that is fat but I have no loose fat anywhere) in the last month. I was 168lbs (76kg) this time in February, now I'm 176lbs (80kg). This is the heaviest I've ever been. I'm 6'4" (193cm). Been doing squats, deadlifts, bench press, pull ups, t bar row and overhead press mainly.
8lbs in a month? Maybe I'm just not thinking straight, but that sounds nigh-impossible without the aid of roids. Are you weighing yourself in the mornings before you eat anything? That's the best way to produce reliable results. If so, then plz let me know what you're doing/taking because I'd like to gain 8lbs of muscle in a month without roids.
lol
Train big, eat big, sleep big. There'll always be some fat, but don't worry

I think its just because I started quite thin and Ive been eating well in combo with the training. Currently at 200lb squat.

That's like training quads with no hamstrings.

Didn't know you just started lifting, looking back I realize that's what I should have assumed from the get-go.

Eating 8k calories is just plain bullshit. Unless you want to be a fat pig. Yeah you gain weight but eating 4-5k kcal over your maintenance wont make you gain much more (if any) lean muscle than eating 1k over maintenance.

However, putting on 8lbs of muscle with a very small percentage of it being fat would be extremely impressive if they're not noob gains/you're not on juice. At 8k cals, you were probably getting fat as fuark. Yet somehow you were able to stay at the same weight while getting bigger, implying you were gaining 1lb of muscle for every 1lb of fat you lost. I'm not even sure if a conversion rate like that is possible on keto.
Am i stupid or my friends are? I go to the gym for the first time with friends because i usually lift alone. I start doing compound excercises (Squats, BP, DL, OHP, etc) and they start telling me that i'm not doing enough "excercises" dafuq im gonna shoot a bitch
