Weightlifting/Bodybuilding Thread V.4 - I wanna look like that guy from Fight Club

Give me two years, I'll be back, bigger than the guy you just posted, without the use of enhancing drugs.. Kinda funny because my cousin takes steroids and my dad is always giving him shit about it.. My dad even does public speeches in schools about steroids and other shit, and how being natty is the way to be. (which it is) He was even talking to this younger kid at the gym, convo went something like this.
Dad: How old are you?
Kid: 20
Dad: Yeah you're a good size for your age!
Kid: (dunno what he said)
Dad: Just don't touch the juice, wasting your time. (something like that)
Why would he always make fun of steroid users and bash the drug if he took it? He'd be making fun of himself.. and who the hell would make fun of themselves? Lol.. Just saying. Not saying you can't believe what you want, but I'm 150% he doesn't take steroids and being his size natural is achievable.
Mind you he's only like 5'10 so maybe that's why he looks so big, because of his height.
Ever heard about all the anti-gay priests (and other republicans) who get caught doing drugs and having sex with male prostitutes. It's kinda like that.
So I'm piss poor and want an exercising regimen focusing on upper body, and uses no equipment. Any suggestions? Right now I just do about 40 pushups, 40 tricep pushups, a 4 minute plank, and about 35 of these sit up things where I bring my straight legs to my hands above my stomach.
I know I need to do more. I'd really like to focus on muscle in arms, and general weight loss in my abs.
What you really want to do is get some more weight on those exercises. If there is absolutely no way to get a gym membership/some real weights, try doing push ups while wearing a very heavy backpack.
So I was wondering, just how big can someone get without steroids? Then I encountered a forum where this calculator was posted
http://www.weightrainer.net/bodypred.html
Pretty interesting. Apparently I could get to 280lbs at 20% bodyfat. Not sure how possible that is to be honest...
There are too many factors to consider...

That was a great read.
I want to start lifting, to gain some mass and such. I've read a bit into it, and it seems most exercises require a barbell, which I do not have. I don't really have any equipment, but I can pick up some dumbbells. Would that be enough, and is there a good routine for just dumbbells as a weight. I also have pull up bar, and am pretty skinny (reason for wanting to lift).
Anything is better than nothing, but you probably won't be seeing as good gains in muscle as if you had proper weights, I think.
I know this prob isn't the right thread but i don't know which is.
I'm a sophomore, and there's another dude that's a junior. a couple years older than me tho. and he pretty much messes with me a lot. I'm preparing for a fight incase anything happens. I'm the exact same weight as him except i'm muscle and he's fat but still pretty strong. He wrestled since beginning middle school and does MMA, i've only wrestled since 8th grade and i don't fight. So this dude is older than me, same strength but skinnyfat, is better at wrestling than me, and does MMA and some other crap.
How do i prepare for dis? I'm ready to fight but what are the basics of fighting a dude who actually knows how to fight? :/
Kick him in the balls.

All those squats finally come in handy.

While he's talking shit, ask him a random question and then immediately punch him square in the jaw and keep hitting him till he's out cold.
You're welcome.

You should probably just avoid fighting all together. Talk with teachers or something about it. It's a shitty situation and no one wants to rat people out but you really don't want to be getting into trouble/getting hurt.
I've never understood why people are apprehensive about telling the authorities (teachers) when situations like these arise.
According to online calculators, my body fat is somewhere around 18%... which is considered "Normal". Will i need to get it down to 15% if i want very visible abs?
I've got some work to do.
Been weighing myself gradually over the last few months. I started weight training in January, but really started eating more and doing more heavy compound moves in February. Started stronglifts 5x5 in March. I started out pretty skinny. I'm 193cm.
18th of February I was 76.6kg. I'm now 83.4kg. So I've put on 7.3kg in about 12 weeks.
I'm sure a reasonable amount of that is fat, but I'm still pretty lean (scales tell me 19% bodyfat).
Currently squat 85kg, dl 95kg, bench 65kg, can do 7 pull ups. Since when I started I couldn't do 1 pull up and all of those weights were much lower, I'm really pleased with my progress.
Those scales that tell you bodyfat percentages are completely bogus, they aren't even a good estimation, it's just some arbitrary number most of the time.
They are not very accurate, but they are not "completely bogus" and they certainly do not just give you an arbitrary number. The chances are that it will give you a reading within 5% of your actual body fat, which to be honest is plenty of accuracy unless you are trying to reduce your body fat to an unhealthy level.
Also, on an unrelated note, the "bench your own body weight" benchmark is pretty irritating to me. A 5'7" man who weighs 135lbs has it way easier than I do at 6'4" and 184lbs. I realise that larger people generally should be able to lift more, but that rule of thumb is stupid IMO.
The good thing about scales that calculate your BF is that they are consistant. They may be off by a bit, but they're good to see how much BF you have lost/gained.
made multiple newspapers u mud

if he actually knows how to fight then you're probably in trouble. however, if he goes around saying that he "trains ufc" then he's probably full of himself. If push comes to shove just do what your comfortable with. Just try to shoot in for a takedown, but try to set it up with a punch and don't shoot in from too far away. Try to get on top and punch him in his face.
be safe

Plenty of fighters have gotten owned by untrained people because they talked themselves into a fucking ambush without realizing it.
Just hit fucking blast him while he's talking as I said before.
I'll try my best not to start anything. worst thing that happens he shoves me, i shove him back, he goes in for a punch. But it'll end up with him shoving me and me shoving him back and then me shooting a blast double on him.
Thanks guys.
Thing is, he lives a mile away from me, i used to be friends with him, his dad's 240 pounds and 6'1" and has a whole fucking gym in their garage.
They're kind of an aggressive family. That's what freaks me out the most. And they know where i live.
you're afraid his dad is going to beat you up?
shiit

Don't shove, its completely useless.
Seriously, just talk to a teacher. There's no reason to fight.
