I personally don't usually do side bends... but lots of guys at my gym do. And all of them always hold dumbells in their both arms :v: And they often use so much weight that they got to use straps to hold them.

u dont need a oly club to oly lift u dumb idiots. i mean shit nigguh. cleaned 290lbs as a 15 year with like 4 motn of ifitng fukin on fone
Your efforts are irrelevant, that was just the cocaine's doings.
obv unnecessary but imo clubs look fun as hell
One thing is having a coach teaching you the right techniques, the other thing is being a club with other lifters and competing. If everything goes according to my predictions, I'll have to move to a bigger city soon(cuz of jobs and shit), and I'll probably check out some Oly-lifting clubs.
i have a club near me, the british under-18 champion weightlifter goes there. should i start going?
i have a club near me, the british under-18 champion weightlifter goes there. should i start going?
enjoy watching people 30 pounds lighter than you snatch a phuck ton of weight
everyone's gotta start somewhere [editline]29th August 2012[/editline] do it phaggot
most of the people who go actually lift around the same as me, i can tell from the weights left around when i go to squat and deadlift in the "powerhouse" (which is an abandoned part of my gym which the club uses) but ill go and update you guys.
u mud i'm the strongest kid except for my work out partnet the big nig. and a few other kids who bench the world. Equally strong as the big nig overall, he just benches 470lbs
I'm trying to front squat but when I get into the clean rack position it's quite painful. The bar is right against my throat, on my delts and over my clavicle. But under some weight (115lb) the bar starts to rest on my clavicle (the 2 bumps sticking out on the center) and it hurts quite a bit to squat. Is my clean rack position wrong? Flexibility issues? Etc.. Also I found that when the bar is infront of my clavicles, it's more comfortable but less stable being that the weight is further from my body, I assume this position is wrong.
fixed that for you
i can feel ur jelly gl on ur being weak goals of 2012

That's true, but irrelevant. He can still practice good form...
This study is the first to compare net muscle protein balance (protein synthesis minus breakdown) after carbohydrate ingestion with control after exercise. The principal finding was that intake of 100 grams of carbohydrates after resistance exercise improved muscle net protein balance. The findings from this research demonstrate that carbohydrates intake alone can improve net protein balance between synthesis and breakdown. In this work, the gradual improvement in net muscle protein balance after carbohydrate intake was due principally to a progressive reduction in breakdown. However, the improvement was small compared with previous findings after intake of amino acids or amino acids and carbohydrates. The researchers conclude that intake of carbohydrates alone after resistance exercise will modestly improve the anabolic effect of exercise. However, amino acid intake is necessary for a maximal response, one desired by most participating in resistance exercise programs. :)
question about volume - I never really had a good grasp on this concept. what's a good amount of volume? I just finished my chest/tri workout. overall I think I did 9 sets of chest exercises, each set in the 6-8 rep range. then I finished off with 2 sets of dips to failure. also deloaded a bit today. too much? feedback pls
Too much would be dependent on whether or not your ultimate goal is strength and what kind of exercises did you do. If it's not strength, then 9-12 sets is supposedly average volume required for an experience lifter (i.e 1-2 years of lifting) to stimulate metabolic factors required for hypertrophy http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/training/categories-of-weight-training-part-4.html... read all the parts
I finally feel I've gotten the snatch tech yey. Not perfect but I think I can add some weight now. I've been practicing with bar and 10kg rubber plates. The bar alone feels way too light and your starting position varies. It's kinda hard to get under the bar when you're scared that the weight goes too far back and stresses your shoulders.
So I started a few months ago, thanks to you guys for helping me with some stuff. II got a bit bigger, but I feel I'm not growing that much now. What should I do? Put more weight in the stuff I'm doing? Also, my muscles aren't that defined like, you can't really see the lines unless I tighten them. Whats the way to make them show up? reduce body fat or something?

Maybe be a summerfag and cut(bodyfat) when the summer comes around and you need to make women wet in their panties.
well too late, summer is almost over. Now I have to restore fat to hibernate
Gonna qualify today for the nationals in strengthlifting today. lol the requirements are scrublike.
