That's only phaggots who use suicide grip, bench is safe at all times with a non retarded spotter
If shit should happen, you can always do the roll of shame.
...not on a decline

speaking from experience :(
Boy I'm glad I live in Satan's anus and the closest gym (Also the only one I can go to without having to take 3 hours of bus) is for girls only.

Would that be good enough? All I have are dumb bells, I've been working out for some time now and I've had some decent growth but I wonder if I could get more.
Basically, Day 4-1 and 5-2 are just the same I'd do at Day 1 and 2 until I hit the Plateau where I'd try out to do stuff like Drop sets and what not to bust through the plateau.
Right, I also have no pull-up bars or anything so targetting the lats is especially difficult.
looks like a volume overload
So you think I'm actually doing too much?
Bench Press is not as deadly as you make it to be... The real issue with it is bad technique and aggrevated existing postural issues due to technique which makes it seem as if the bench is the devil....
I don't intend to make it sound like getting hurt is a guarantee or anything like that. I did flat bench for 6 years and never got injured doing it. Made strength gains consistently but my chest never developed much mass. Switched to incline/decline and my chest filled out much more.
I have witnessed a lot of friends get hurt flat benching but they were also lifting some heavy ass weight. Haven't seen anything happen to anyone doing incline/decline, even with equally ridiculous amounts of weight.
If all you have available is flat bench, it will work fine. However, if you have the option to do incline or decline you're simply better off doing those. Especially incline, it's amazing for developing a nice looking chest.
Personally, I find incline even worse on the shouldters.... Regardless, bench is a shitty exercise when it comes to making your pecs massive as most people dont use during the movement efficiently
from my experience almost every chest exercise wreaks havoc on my shoulders
and it doesn't help that I have really bad shoulders. I can barely even do any type of shoulder press exercises
then fix this u fuck

i have a similar problem
wat do
Try dumbbells.
try taking a JOINT SUPPORT supplement and stop being a BITCH
Get a proper joint warmup would be a better choice
What do I do if the heaviest dumbbell in my gym is not enough? I hate barbells on shoulders.
bring some duct tape and tape on some plates.
Thinking about buying me some weightlifting shoes, since my right food slides outwards when I'm squatting in socks.
Use socks and your legs... fuck shoes, what the fuck are you doing?
Use socks and your legs... fuck shoes, what the fuck are you doing?
When I squat, especially front-squat, my right leg seems to slowly slide outwards. Don't know if it's the socks or the floor. It's becoming more apparent now that I'm doing oly lifts and I'm doing squats each day.
Do you mean cave out? Draw this or something....
yea sort of. I start to squat and everything is fine, but when I do more sets my right foot slides more and more outwards.
Do not ignore this. Preferably get a band around your knees and push against the resistant of it to teach yourself proper moving pattern.

I am pushing my knees outwards when I squat, it's just that the right foot slides outwards and I don't know if it's because my technique or the floor + socks combination. I'll try some flat-soled shoes next time, and see if it's better.

If you mean shoulder press, either your gym sucks or you're a beast. They have 60kg dumbbells at my gym.
i run at 50kg, it has only 49kg Israel is not a fitness meca like the usa.... :P
Not everyone here is from the USA. I'm from finland.
Any tips for improving wrist flexibility? I can't rest the barbell on my delts while doing cleans so good tech is impossible. My wrist bend only a little over 45 degrees backwards.

It has all the information you need. And Finland is even worse you viking... (i.e probably got farmer walk stands on the go )

Wait shit, are you saying you use 50kg dumbbells for military press?
[editline]21st September 2012[/editline]
Now that I think about it you probably mean shrugs.
I meant shoulder press for shrugs I go.... last time was 65kilos
What is shoulder press to shrugs? I've always though shoulder press was the same as military.
And heck I wouldn't be able to carry 65 kg in one hand, my arm would just snap off.
