Military press is done standing and with a barbell. Shoulder press is done seated. I like to do mine also 1 arm at a time.
Ah righto.
It has all the information you need
That actually didn't help at all. I need to drastically improve my wrist mobility, and avoid breaking something by stretching too much. I don't think simple "pull your fingers back" is the best way.
What are your toughts on swimming day or two after workout as a cardio? Most of your muscles are working during you swim, so I'm afraid it may cause overtraining. Appreciate the response.
How do you know this will not improve your wrist flexibility drastically without trying? Regardless, there's not much you can do to increase flexibility in your wrists beyond these movements... I assure you foam rolling your forearms and using a tennis ball + exercises stated in that article that you will gain the flexibility of which you seek. Try different grips, I really enjoy the one with straps... [editline]21st September 2012[/editline]
What are your toughts on swimming day or two after workout as a cardio? I hate the school gym I have to go to since other gyms are expensive, I'm half an inch too short and can't get the barbell on the rack after I finish a set, wish it would have more height variations.
finally all moved into my dorm at uni. the weight room is nice as fuck, the new office is looking good
I want to do this

he looks like his lats never existed
Don't see any weight-loss mega-threads so i'll just post this here Can I lose weight if i eat the most godawful unhealthy shit, but never go above 1500 calories a day? I plan on some exercise at the gym as well
yeah but it's not the greatest idea. eat some veggies at least like goddamn your body needs them vitamins and minerals yaknow [editline]25th September 2012[/editline]
you want to look unaesthetic as fuark?
not everyone lifts to look more aesthetic brah
Alright cool thanks. I eat whatever my mom makes so its all loaded with a fuck ton of carbs and fat. I don't wanna spend money/have no money either. The best I can do is cut back on calories and get some excercise in.
You'll lose raw poundage but your body composition won't change. Losing weight is all calories in/calories out. Losing FAT and keeping MUSCLE is when you need to pay attention to macros (at least generally). If you eat like shit but below maintenance, yeah, you'll lose weight. But you'll just go from fat to skinnyfat, you won't look or feel any better.
im fat

i fucking read that like the song you fucker
you want to look unaesthetic as fuark?
Dude Dude What if i would tell you i like functional strength and i would like to go bearmode someday?
Dude Dude What if i would tell you i like functional strength and i would like to go bearmode someday?
functional strength isn't as rewarding as aesthetics with aesthetics you get strength and you look better powerlifters get strength but they progressively get worse looking
bodybuilders = plebs lifters = awesome people
Aesthetics are more functional than strength in modern society.
what if i dont give a fuck how i look and i just like picking up and putting down heavy ass weights what now what
Aesthetics are more functional than strength in modern society.
social skills are more functional than aesthetics in modern society
functional strength isn't as rewarding as aesthetics with aesthetics you get strength and you look better powerlifters get strength but they progressively get worse looking
It's all in relation to their goals; powerlifters have got a certain weight class to stay at while bodybuilders don't. So in that context, bodybuilders have a far better chance of looking better aesthetically (and that's without taking into account their training methods and the fact some powerlifters may be able to sustain good bodyfat measurements due to genetics) So, my point, generally speaking "progressively getting worse" is a very loose term. And personally, I find the combination of both strength and muscle size the most rewarding but one over the other I do not.
being fat helps on certain lifts or some shit, something to do with leverage or something idk
Pathetic excuse for eating uncontrollably. You can decrease your ROM by just cheating....
Is a table spoon of cough syrup or some cough lozenges gonna break my fast?
not an on or off switch. It's about calories in versus out at the end of the day and I doubt that tiny amount is gonna "break" your fast
