last comment, specifically.
I say, keep squatting and unless you feel any kind of pressure, keep doing the best you can form and weight wise.
[QUOTE=Mr Kodiak;34704735]I get some back movement on my squats. Not sure if it's anything to worry about or if I should just keep going at it.

You could try holding the barbell lower on your back. It helps keeping chest up.

This is good advice and helped me with this issue too. Also look up when you squat, make sure your chest is up and sit back. If you can't do that, then make sure your back and hamstrings are strong, so do some Romanian Dead Lifts and other back exercises.
Okay, so guys i have a question. For some time now, i don't workout and doesn't keep my diet, and i think that i'm getting fat, the scales shows same weight, and everyone asks if i got slimier, but i do honestly think i am getting fat. What is it? Muscle to fat conversion? Anorexia?
lmao slimier lmao ~!~SLIMIER~!~
By the way Kodiak, why are you backing away so far from the squatting rack which also has those safety bars incase you keel over under the weigh?

the safety bars are too high and I know to bail under weight.
Is it normal to feel lower back compression when doing squats and presses?
After I rack the weight, it goes away. It's painful or anything, just a slight discomfort.

Continue to cut, or do a quick bulk before summer?
I've always wondered, how fast do you loose muscle if you stopped working out?
Assuming you had a balanced 2000-2500 calorie diet rich in protein

You don't look like you have much to cut to.

Depends on the individual, the amount of muscle the person has, probably the specific types of muscle too and bulk and strength are probably not completely proportional in their loss either.
There isn't really a single answer.
It would be an interesting subject for a study though (although who would voluntarily let their muscle waste away :v:)

Just make sure your back is straight, and that you're not going too low on the squats.
Ok, thanks guys! I guess I just thought when you cut, you go down to abs or something silly. Just to make sure I don't get very fat or see no results, now I'm doing my bulk, is doing it for 2 months, roundabouts 3000 calories a day the way to do it?
only you would know
how tall are you, ruski?
[editline]16th February 2012[/editline]

Finally starting to lose Christmas weigh, almost back to 100kgs. Interestingly enough, my waist is also almost 100cms, which is 24cms thinner than about 3 years ago. 1cm from waist per 1kg of weigh lost seems to hold pretty well.

Height?
187,5 cms (about 6'2"). I begun my weight-losing project in 2010 october IIRC, so it's been about 1,5 years now. Still gotta lose about 15-20kgs, which I'm planning to do in two or three more years. Aiming to get to about 90kgs for the Christmas this year.
EDIT: when I started I was 123,3kgs.
Big issues guise, every time I try working traps I start getting dizzy immensely just trying to bring the weight up, like my brain is getting blood cut off. I can't complete a full set without feeling like I'm about to pass out.
This is mainly with shrugs, I strain way too much trying thunderclaps.
