lole, to get bitches all you need is confidence. If you have confidence, your body or face doesn't matter, you can be fat cunt with great confidence and still get bitches. Though good body is good for raising confidence and self-esteem.
wtf are you talking about you can't consistently get 9/10s if you're a fat fuck with confidence. if you're thick solid tight with the same amount of confidence you definitely can though. confidence isn't even close to all that you need

/fit/ - for humor purposes only
Fp - because facepunch, I might as well join
/r/fitness - I dislike it. Dunno why. It's okay for advice
bodybuilding.com - yes I agree, it's good portal
eroids- Nope. I heard several people dead from their "advice".
Bodybuilding is broscience for the most part. You want good advice you visit WtF or bodyrecomposition.com.

bb.com is only broscience if you read the forums like misc. misc is just for the lulz, nothing there should be taken seriously. pretty much any of the other forums though are really some of the best advice from people who have gotten actual results that i believe exists on the internet
Can you give an example for a question that was also asked on here, in which bb.com gave a far superior response?
pretty much anything involving supplements, programs, exercises (both which ones are best and how to properly do them), properly dieting / cutting, as well as bulking, really everything the "witness the fitness" portion of FP covers, bb.com covers it better. i'm too lazy to look for specific examples because really you can just go to the main page of the bb.com forums and within 2-3 clicks find hundreds of pages of information on absolutely anything you want.
Bullshit. Everything is broscience. Nobody actually understands proper exercise mechanics other than what they're taught.

Clinging on a piece of thread here; "toes come off on 1st rep", "going as low as possible is better"...
Information is within 2-3 clicks, yet you're too lazy to provide any proof. The site is a good place to start, although hardly a good source of quality advice.

95% of the articles I've read on bb.com make me cringe with the broscience and terribly out of date information.

my god that was so difficult to find threads with quality information instead of looking for shit threads which can be found on ANY FORUM
i said i was too lazy to look for specific examples because i don't give a shit if you don't accept that bb.com has better info than here and have better things to do than prove anything to you

those were literally the first 3 threads found on the exact sub forum you were in
made some new PRs for C&J today, finally hit 70kg. first time jerking too.
coach said I should start looking into competing :')
o hot damn this is a hEAtED DEBaTE
We were, you were, comparing forums. I find it hard to believe you actually misunderstood what we were comparing here. Evidently it shows by your posts above in which you describe the people and not the stickies themselves. The examples you gave are hardly evidence of a forum's quality of people.
Truth is, if I ask a question on BB.com and if I ask a question here, I am going to get about the same level of content give or take a few knowledgeable people. By that standard, bb.com is not superior but even inferior as there are so many people there spitting out from the same source of information.

how are you managing on snatch? I can only do ~40kg. I have issues catching the bar in a full squat position but I'm slowly getting it.

52kg, but it was more of a power snatch and overhead squat. I have the same problem, but I'm working on it. Make sure you're having enough hip-flexion/thrust on the bar when you lift it. Don't use a mirror and keep the bar as close to your shins as possible. I managed 50kgx2 last session, so I'm getting there with better technique. It also help to find just the right grip, so the bar hits right.
yeah same here, I can only manage power snatches atm. I have the technique/grip down for the most part, it's just getting it down in the full squat position. And yeah I don't use mirrors, esp since I don't have much of a choice lolz (3/4 of the walls are clear windows wtf). 52kg is pretty damn good though.
I'm actually learning through a PE weight training class at my university, and the teacher is a strength and conditioning coach who did a lot of work at the main olympic gym in colorado, so I'm pretty spoiled atm.
are you doing oly lifts for fun or do you hope to compete?
I currently go to the gym 3 times a week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Should I be going more often? My workouts are different every day and take about 1 and a half to 2 hours.
Nah I do the same, except my workouts go for an hour. Just make sure you work each muscle group each week.

Gym I go to is only open two days a week, but its free, don't have that much weights at home, but I do have a pull up bar, and I usually strap a weight on me if I do push ups, and then I do harder variations of it. I wish I could at least go for three days.
