Size is just barely even relevant to strength. Different processes
It feels like I'm dying inside. The longer I work out, the more I miss it if I'm ill or gone abroad.
Relax, nothing bad gonna happen, if anything while you rest now your gains will be better

leg press versus squats
I feel that squats helps you stabilize your balance and work more thoroughly your entire body, and work out more naturally instead of using a fixed movement. and unless you have existing knee problems i don't see why you are afraid of it being harmful to your knee. i know people that have squatted for years upon years and their joints are as healthy as a fish. but this suggestion might be a spawn of my love for compound workouts.
there's no definite winner here and I am looking at this completely objectively, and in that case, squats are not for everyone.... ( i do squats and love em) one, people with longer femurs have shit squats and excessive leans, so in that sense, leg press prevails. two, in terms of hypertrophy and safely and progressively loading weight, its so much easier on the leg press and equally a powerful training stimulus thirdly, as stated above, squat is harder to safely perform than leg presses and if put reasonable amount of weight on leg press, it is technically superior in terms of hypertrophy. besides, nobody on planet earth has perfect posture i.e tight hamstrings, soleus, quads and calves... you hardly see anyone performing squat correctly. thus knee issues etc... and finally, unless you are a powerlifter or oly lifter there's literally no need to have them .... although, if someone asked me what he should do i would recommend squats as a way to asses his posture issues and as a way to also teach him proper neural activation through a range of motion. EDIT: you pretty much disqualified yourself here by adding "i feel" at the beginning and then mentioning you really enjoy the squats...

for quad isolation leg press is obv superior to squat but squat overall is better for you since it's a compound movement end of story gtfo GO EAT AND LIFT

I DID READ UR COMMENT I MEANT IN TERMS OF SQUAT VS LEG PRESS OK SHIT GET OFF ME
omfg... hoisin sauce is amazing just dumped 500g of turkey mince into the pan, fried that shit up, cracked an egg in there, fried that shit up and mixed it together, then covered that bitch in hoisin sauce and mixed it through. Looked like shit but tasted amazing.
