When the world touches the sun and the sun bangs it
My teacher told me this.
"If life on earth was put in to a book. Human life would only take up 3 lines on the last page."
With overpopulation, water shortage, and the ever increasing and looming threat of global war- nuclear and conventional, I'd give it 30-60 years. Honestly I see global war being the cause, either over water or oil, or just over politics, but who knows?
The 3rd World War starts in November so we'll see what happens then....

Eh, timewise sure, but the effects we've had on the planet would rival the ice age. We'd prolly get one of 100 chapters, but it's a chapter no less. Our importance in evolution, or experience of consciousness- we're far too interesting and advanced to only have three lines.
It won't for a long time.
