I prefer Stephen King, I'm almost done with "Gunslinger" from the "Dark Tower" series.

It provides our mind with experience, it makes us better people, it makes us more intelligent people.
I feel for you man, but it's hard to get over something like that. Plus she's a woman, and women dwell on the past, just try to help her as much as you can and show that no matter what you're her child and she's your mom and you'll be there no matter what for her.
I feel sorry for the OP.
Oh for godsakes man at least it was a content filled OP and not filled with the usual shite, he has genuine problems, its not like some girl at school rejected him at school or something and hes on here crying about it.
well he snipped his post before i quoted it, was quite basically saying facepunch is'nt a blog :hurr:
@ the OP it sounds like you've had a really hard time but thing is sooner or later your going to have to move on, go to college (or whatever it is you want to do) and you WILL leave your mother behind who knows how she'l take it she may not mind and take it well, she may hate you and blame you and your siblings for everything, only time will tell my heart goes out to you, seriously.
Youtubers are generally assholes. And somebody said I'm just trying to get this off my chest: that's basically it. This is not a frivolous story about how my day went. But thank you for pointing out the sticky to me.
my point exactly about how isnt the typical "blog" bullshit we usualy get about some idiot crying over how hard his life sucks. Notice at no point in the thread the OP says my life is hard or i hate my parents.
your mother is prob going to kill herself if things are actually as bad as they sound
why don't you send this article you just wrote to her instead of us
Wow, this is almost exactly like my family
With the exception that instead, my mother is handicapped and has issues with chemical imbalances that cause (usually negative) mood swings and completely denies it, causing lots of stress
I also feel bad for her because she obviously doesn't interact socially due to the fact she spends hours on end talking to our pets, plus some shit my dad does wrong sometimes makes her pissed off to and they argue almost every night
Somewhat like your parents, my mother was born into a very Mormon family, and my dad likes DIY things and is more or less an individualist as well, and as complete polar opposites... my life is more or less similar to yours OP, except I'm 17 and my parents aren't divorcing until I'm out of high school, which is going to hit me probably as hard as you got hit. What did you do to cope with your parents always disagreeing? I find trying to be a median/peacemaker is a good option but I always end up rubbing someone wrong :/

I have a bed with three wheels, a door screen for my window held up by duct tape, a sheet for a door, and I couldn't be happier.

Read the OP.
I live in New Jersey.
OP what school does your sister go to?
You should just tell yer mom "Hey, I'm doing everything I fucking can for you, can you please tell me what'll make you happy?"
You should just tell yer mom "Hey, I'm doing everything I fucking can for you, can you please tell me what'll make you happy?"
If the OPs mom is like what he describes her as, I doubt she'll listen.
I respect that his main concern is for his family.
i have no idea what any of this feels like. But i hope that you and your family eventually overcome this huge speed-bump over the years.
Give your mother time to come around. Words lead to escalating things to worse and worse since its impossible to always use the correct vocabulary and get the feeling across those words. A simple gesture can say it all. Next time you see your mom, hug her. A proper one, don't discuss any problems or anything, just be there.

My family almost never fights, usually the entire family plays cards. Pretty fun when I bluffed a pot full of quarters.
Can't believe i read all that.
Feel bad for you, one of my friends' family is also going down the shitter..
Good luck, and i hope you get some nice advice as ii don't have anything at 3.30 AM in the morning.
Blog punch.
go up to your mother and give her a massive hug and tell her you love her
Tough stuff.
Did you even know that your dad was even married when you got a call saying that he was having another child?
Have a <3 OP. :)
