Can we get an undo button on Read Threads, similar to how the New Tab page on Chrome presents this when you remove a page:

Possibly have it appear at the top below the header or as a floating box when you click Mark Unread on a thread, just in-case it's hit by accident as I have done a few times when trying to click New Posts on a touchscreen.

this would be great for phones -- it's like a 50/50 shot of hitting mark unread instead of new posts on an ipod touch
clicking on a pic in safari to makes a weird animation before doing the full screen thing. I assume it's supposed to work like you click the picture and then it expands to the full screen viewer thing, but it actually starts big and contracts to a small pic and then instantly loads full screen, looks all backwards
[QUOTE=Nintendo-Guy;48134733]Yeah i've seen multiple people get banned once or twice since the unban and get away with it.[/QUOTE]
You should ask that moderator why, especially if the user is terrible.
[QUOTE=smurfy;48134303]On a public computer just use incognito mode or the equivalent. I always use it on other computers to make sure I don't leave anything logged in[/QUOTE]
My college's computers disabled incognito/equivalent features.
[QUOTE=Winner;48131024]also wtf your text hinting is way off[/QUOTE]
Looks fine on my screen bro, and I never even configured it
I could probably get it about a thousand times better if I actually bothered to look into text hinting shit but it's never bothered me so
[QUOTE=LegndNikko;48135583]My college's computers disabled incognito/equivalent features.[/QUOTE]
unless you have individual accounts per student or something like deep freeze that automatically clears browser data when the user logs out why the fuck would you do that

As a hack, you can close the tab and re-open the last closed tab, works in Chrome at least. (It doesn't "refresh" the page so it shows the page as it first appeared)
For the love of God, fix this android typing issue.
[QUOTE=RoboChimp;48137724]For the love of God, fix this android typing issue.[/QUOTE]
it's a swiftkey issue
not a robotboy issue
[QUOTE=RoboChimp;48137724]For the love of God, fix this android typing issue.[/QUOTE]
this is a swiftkey issue, afaik. just switch to the stock android keyboard if you need to type something.

Don't know. My guess is that they don't want students to do anything unauthorized on the computers that they'd have to cover their tracks for. Regardless, I should correct that it [I]was[/I] my college. Regardless, my point is that some computers have it locked down where you do need a log-out button.
Then don't login to Facepunch when you're at school or on a computer that's so "locked down" like that.
Yeah you shouldn't really be logging into anything in that type of environment, but if you do you can just memorise the vB logout link, it's not exactly hard, hell I've memorised the bbcode link because sometimes I forget what the strike out tag is.
Does changing password void all logins on all devices that still have cookies?
[QUOTE=Seiteki;48138023]Then don't login to Facepunch when you're at school or on a computer that's so "locked down" like that.[/QUOTE]
Providing a link to the faux log-out button at the top with Events, Popular, Red, Search, etc. really isn't that big of a hassle, and a lack of a log-out button is damn silly on a website.
Like, yeah, I could just not use the website, and it's not as if Facepunch is that necessary of a website that I absolutely [I]need[/I] to go on it during a time I'm with a locked down computer but, still. "Just don't go on the website" isn't a solution.
I don't know why we can't have a straight yes or no answer on the logout button instead of turning it into some Hotel California bullshit.

the answer is no

I swear that comes up every couple months

it is a solution
it's not a solution you want
maybe not fp on such a locked down computer then
Don't most public computers nowadays and those at school wipe all cookies/history from the computer upon logging out?
Every time I've used one and you log back in straight afterwards, nothing is there, it's all been cleaned out to avoid people from sabotaging accounts

It's a general student log-in. You don't log out on them.

An explanation would be nice tbh
The main reason is that it's been a memorable part of this site for so long that, by adding it, facepunch would lose a part of itself and become less unique.

you see, on average, once in every 2 months or so, plus or minus 1 month, a Facepunch user asks the admins if the logout link could come back to the forums, and they say no
[url]http://support.facepunchstudios.com/kb/articles/25-how-do-i-log-out-from-the-forums[/url]
There's even a support article about it on the offical support site for facepunch, so why not just add a link down the bottom of the site where it's out of the way but can still be used by people that need to use it.
[editline]7th July 2015[/editline]
who is Andres anyway?

seriously what is with your guys' obsession with getting a logout button
seiteki has said it's not happening, end of story
[editline]6th July 2015[/editline]
seiteki is not the only mod to say it's not happening either
i know its not the solution you guys want but its like 10 seconds to make a userscript that adds a logout button to fp. i have one for myself

That's how Facepunch works. The more people complain about something, the less chance it'll happen, or worse, it'll just change in a way people don't like.
It's a forum, don't fret.
The real solution is to ban people asking for a log out button.
If they want out so badly, let 'em have it.
[QUOTE=Emperor Scorpious II;48138766]The real solution is to ban people asking for a log out button.
