Oh oh oh... Fix the IMG tags on profile comments.
Once Shacknews is removed from Facepunch, Facepunch will be a whole lot better.
What's wrong with it? I like the Shacknews and BBC bot.
[QUOTE=Acti;47748684]Just out of curiosity. Is there an actual advantage on using HITBOX to TWITCH?[/QUOTE] almost no delay
[t]http://puu.sh/hRLJM.jpg[/t] Single-line code breaks page length on mobile
[QUOTE=eirexe;47748828]almost no delay[/QUOTE] Isn't that just a resource problem caused by the amount of people streaming? I do believe that the streamer should control the delay.
[QUOTE=Acti;47748790]What's wrong with it? I like the Shacknews and BBC bot.[/QUOTE] These aren't news worthy, and they post these types of threads a lot. [url]http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1465734[/url] [url]http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1465666[/url] [url]http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1465343[/url] [url]http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1465723[/url] [url]http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1465722[/url] Well some of them I picked because I personally think they don't belong there, but articles such as Shackreels and Top X Lists are not news worthy at all. They are basically sites like Buzzfeed now.
[QUOTE=fruxodaily;47748497]just wanna bump this[/QUOTE] The flags are per post. Your problem is that the geoip API facepunch uses returns USA for your IP.
So you're saying if i made a new account, it would also show up as UK?
Test i guess?
You might actually want to double check, if its per post.
[QUOTE=Robotboy655;47748992]The flags are per post. Your problem is that the geoip API facepunch uses returns USA for your IP.[/QUOTE] I call bullshit because I've posted from different places around Queensland and it still says I'm American
I'm Dutch and I am not using a VPN
I have no VPN or proxy tho that's the thing If a mod was to look at my IP records it should indicate I'm with Telstra BigPond
I thought Garry or someone had said before it took it from when it was registered. [editline]18th May 2015[/editline] Posted with a Romanian VPN, so I don't think it's per post.
Don't mind me.
Retest
I think I'm still a ruski [editline]18th May 2015[/editline] yes i am blyat
Weren't flagdog disabled due to some sort of vulnerability or security/privacy concern?
OOPS. Missed a parenthesis. [editline]18th May 2015[/editline] It is possible that the IP assigned to the post is not the one you posted from, I am investigating.
This is great, someone working on the forum again at last, thanks for the work Robot!
about 90% off my posts now are via US including this one [img]http://www.danasoft.com/citysign.jpg[/img] [editline]19th May 2015[/editline] Your host is Leaseweb USA
I don't get it. Why not just make it possible for the user to change their country in settings and that will affect the flag on new posts instead?

[QUOTE=kimr120;47749299]I don't get it. Why not just make it possible for the user to change their country in settings and that will affect the flag on new posts instead?[/QUOTE] Garry had a pet dog It's name was flagdog Flagdog grew up to be a hipster dog Flagdog wanted independance from his brother, vbulliten Until Garry's cousin, Robot boy came along The rest of this story has been confiscated for evidence by the Animal Abuse Police [editline]19th May 2015[/editline] [QUOTE=Cabbalistic;47749319]That sign changes for each person...[/QUOTE] I am aware
[QUOTE=kimr120;47749299]I don't get it. Why not just make it possible for the user to change their country in settings and that will affect the flag on new posts instead?[/QUOTE] People would lie, and god forbid we don't know where someone lives
[QUOTE=kimr120;47749299]I don't get it. Why not just make it possible for the user to change their country in settings and that will affect the flag on new posts instead?[/QUOTE] Would be better to make it a manual update button for flagdog. Then only [I]'funny'[/I] people with socks5 proxies and VPN's can pretend.
[QUOTE=kimr120;47749299]I don't get it. Why not just make it possible for the user to change their country in settings and that will affect the flag on new posts instead?[/QUOTE] half the forum turns out to be north korean I'm still not sure why it's so hard to make flagdog update per post, I can see an individual IP post-to-post so I can't imagine it's that hard to link that info up to another IP lookup thinger
[img]http://a.pomf.se/ewyayz.png[/img] The scrollbar seems to show for two ratings. It also overlaps names
