Are you able to add programs made by us? I've got a steamid checker that could be used to make sure the steamids people submit turn into the right sort of link.
Spend day implementing system deeply into vbulletin, or tell people to just put in their vanityurl
Its not worth the time, imo
If steam linking used the openid system then you wouldn't have to worry about people putting in the wrong link, and they'd only be able link their own accounts.

Would facepunch still be interested in these?
XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Apple, Android, Linux, LinuxALT (Ubuntu), Phone, Unknown Device
Are both Windows 8 and 8.1 really needed? They even share the same logo.
This thread is starting to become sort of spam fest.
Please stop with the jokes.
The old social media icons are still available for scrips, just remove the /new/ from image paths.
I don't want to add a ton of social icons. I am still considering adding Tumblr, Garrysmods.org and the Miiverse thing.
At the beginning of the summer, sure.
Do you think you could also put BitBucket into consideration? A lot of developers use that with or as opposed to GitHub.
I really don't see why we need both 8 and 8.1 when the latter is a free patch and the former is now used by nobody.
I really don't see why 8 and 8.1 need different logos when the latter is a free upgrade and the former is now used by nobody.
And that's why you are not in charge of handling user agents
And that's why you are not in charge of handling user agents
Point is the 16x16 icon. You might as well make the 8 & 8.1 icons identical so that 10 is easier to differentiate.
Alright, that's not the point is what I meant.
I meant "nobody" uses Windows 8 as in Windows 98 [del]doesn't[/del] will not soon have an icon either.
Alright, that's not the point is what I meant.
Win8 comment not to be taken literally.
Best question is to ask
Why do you care so much?
Best question is to ask

Because I thought this was the thread to discuss forum changes? It's not like this is any different from caring about the gaps between links.
Are both Windows 8 and 8.1 really needed? They even share the same logo.
I'm not sure why this is so disagreed with. It seems silly to me to have a different icon for a point release update of an OS that shares the same exact logo anyway.

I said 'so much', not 'at all'
I just tried to make the point that only got across when someone else said it.
some of my fb friends are fpers :(
The question is, were they fpers first or your friends first?
I have couple fpers that I added on FB, but honestly I think game networks should be the main focus of the icons, since you know, Facepunch is a gaming forum in the end.
That's why Steam is the only profile I have linked here.
the icons for the operating systems aren't that important
[editline]20th May 2015[/editline]
think of improvements other than icons, which are fine to begin with
Icons are very easy to replace and take a small effort.
The community being artsy doesn't detract from roboyboys work on larger changes for the forums.
I'd like to see more thread icons, but for the love of me I can't think of anything specific now that I'm actually here on the forums.
Could you make transparency in avatars apply in visitor messages? Currently, it show up as white

Windows 98 does have an icon.
There's also the quality (PS3) browser.
[editline]20th May 2015[/editline]
Robotboy probably has a full list.
Windows 98 does have an icon.
Dammit. :v:
Let's just say I was talking about the new icons.
Could you make transparency in avatars apply in visitor messages? Currently, it show up as white
That's not the problem, your avatar once had white background and it loads cached version for some reason ( From Fri, 04 Jul 2014 14:40:51 GMT )
That would be https://www.icheckmovies.com/
But do people use that at all? I know I filled in a bunch of films that I could remember having watched on it, and then I completely forgot about it's existence. MAL seems to work because it's so nichè. Haven't heard of anyone actually using icheckmovies.
Icheckmovies hits a broader audience, but is it an active audience?
I use www.trakt.tv

it actually seems to be a byproduct of the avatar being resized for the page, every transparent av I've had has done it. It's not the avatar on the sidebar of the page, but the little ones in page comments. It's the same deal on the moderators page

only difference is "&type=thumb" on the end of the url

Same sorta thing happened when I used to be blue, I had a transparent avatar that was larger than the max size, when the site downscaled it, there was a white background on the image.
It appears to be caused by image.php resizing it.

windows 10 uses the same logo as windows 8 and 8.1
Yeah,
Windows 8 & 8.1

Windows 10

Well, it needs to be differentiated somehow.
