I remember you giving me a hard time in the past for my suggestions, with those witty replies you type out in addition to rating.
I don't know what's that about, but they serve no other purpose than to cause irritation between users in the thread. There's no reason to get that worked up over ideas, even if they're bad.
I think it's time to drop it and move on. He's been banned.
Added exact date tooltip, vivaldi should be detected now.

Btw I always meant to ask, sometimes when I post I have to go through a weird page (I think it's bot protection), but quite a lot of the time it redirects me to a blank page. Not seen it in a while, has it been removed?

Yup, it works

Why is "5000" bold and in quotes?
Because that's how it was 7 years ago.
why does this happen:

some thread names don't like to show
Those two were from when he was testing the first events a few days ago.
They're the same event as the one above it:

I might be missing something here, but is the for the post, the date it was made?

Oooh, there it is :v:
It just didn't pop out first time i tried it ...

Thank you for implementing it in such a way that I could make a userscript for having it my way.

Disclaimer: JavaScript falls under the category of "web dev" for me, and I'm notoriously bad at web dev
this script, despite being hilariously simple, could absolutely break the entire site somehow
so far it doesn't though

It shouldn't as long as nothing else uses a date class, also if you're picky like me and want both times showing at once on the same post, edit line 16 into
elems.innerHTML = elems.title + " - " + relTime;
And it'll show like

(This is directed at everyone else not you Lava :v:)
Since icons for Windows 8/8.1 were added I now wonder if also Nintendo 3DS got one. Let's check...
[editline]hhhh[/editline]
Apparently not! :v:

I don't think the 3DS browser gets used enough to warrant an icon, lol. Unless Robot feels like adding it just 'cause.
Something that I don't mean to be rude about but the frontpage avatars are still outdated due to how CF caches stuff.
Instead of removing the dateline value (which also because of you doing this, it broke my script which fixed it before), set the value of dateline to be the current time or the time the avatar was uploaded (like it does with posts).
Single line of JS would fix it but as this can be done server side... it's seriously a copy paste job from the post template.
lock threads
I agree. I've been banned because some fucking old thread was popular for some reason and I just assumed it was new

Looping WebM's as avatars when?
[sp]I know that's never gonna happen.[/sp]
never because a lot of devices don't handle webm properly and wont for a while
gif is fine

That's how vB handles edit time listing...

Gif files are like a bipolar ex.
You're lucky if they come out right.
Animated PNG's on the other hand are almost always perfect, but almost as shitty device/browser support as webm.

y'all just haven't learned how to correctly wrangle the gif file format

I'd say that webm's are far more supported than apngs, considering apng support is pretty much only provided through extensions on most browsers.
Still, webms aren't mature enough for such widespread use like avatars.
GIF is fine for <1-2 MB things, WebM only shines above >4, why the hell bother? Don't fix what isn't broken (the use of GIF on Facepunch for avatars).

Because .webm's can be higher quality and longer while being less than half the size of a .gif.
Just raise the avatar size limit to 128GB
Just raise the avatar size limit to 128GB
I just want 100KB more :(
y'all just haven't learned how to correctly wrangle the gif file format
Considering how simple yours is what with there only being three frames and almost no colour that's probably an easy claim to make. Raising the limit to 3/400kb would be incredible. Note that the people agreeing with you have incredibly non-intensive avatars.
Come on man I can't use my old shitty Netscape browser with Facepunch even though there is an icon available
:(((
