I was referring more to its ineffectiveness of spoiler-tagging images
That's sooo 1 hour ago.
sp2 acts a bit weird with thumbed images. Clicking them normally opens them via the quite unpleasant zoom feature (most pictures are thumbed because they're larger than a 1080p monitor) and only unblurs the zoomed version, but right clicking them unblurs the picture permanently as well as opening it in a new tab.

Pretty neat on gifs though.
You can still make out the picture, even with the blur filter
It's good in cases like this though.
you can crash browsers by nesting them like 50x
Why did I try this :(
[sp2][sp2][sp2][sp2][sp2][t]http://s3.postimg.org/udx2f3mqb/s1_topcars_bg_1.jpg[/t][/sp2][/sp2][/sp2][/sp2][/sp2]
[sp2][t]http://s3.postimg.org/udx2f3mqb/s1_topcars_bg_1.jpg[/t][/sp2]
The blurring effect 'stacks', dunno if intended but that's neat.
I just have the feeling that can be abused (and not in the sense of hiding shit like goatse).

Lags the shit out of my browser when I click the first one
The blur effect seems stronger even with only one. As long as you can't make out text then it's absolutely fine imho
don't nest them
it will lag slower computers and will crash your browser if you nest them too many times
[editline]5th June 2015[/editline]
example:
You could atleast include a warning. I clicked on it and my computer needed CPR.
"it can crash your browser, here's an example"
your fault for not reading tbh
"Click here for a cool thread". It literally only has one word in common? I'm referring to when you first posted the link by the way.
click here for a cool thread

(It's click to view now)
Well now it's completely pointless as it's just like the first one. May as well just stick to the old [sp] way, it reveals faster anyway.
Why not have both? Hover to reveal, click to make it stay
Doing what Winner did should be bannable IMO, it crashed my browser and its a pain because Linux Mint doesn't have Ctrl Alt Del like Windows does. Some of us probably have important stuff open as well.
Jesus christ, Chrome crashed and my computer had a stroke
You did not make facepunch better with this change.
You did not make facepunch better with this change.
I think we've moved on from the "what can we fix" to the "what can we add", now.
[sp2]Even though we haven't fixed my name fitting in my posts yet :v:[/sp2]
there's a warning under the link dude
Now that you've edited it, yes, but even then, why put it inside a 5x nested spoiler that is barely visible?
Doing what Winner did should be bannable IMO, it crashed my browser and its a pain because Linux Mint doesn't have Ctrl Alt Del like Windows does. Some of us probably have important stuff open as well.
CTRL+ALT+F2
Log in with your system username and password, then type 'sudo killall firefox' (if your browser is Firefox), enter your password when requested + press enter, then do CTRL+ALT+F7
why the shit are you using linux if you don't know basic cli utilities anyway
Because shit rarely crashes for me using it, so I have little or no need for it. Linux Mint will kill it for me eventually but I have to wait, hence its annoyance. Also I do use the Terminal often for various purposes.
Steam browser doesn't even attempt to load the page. :v:
[editline].[/editline]
Doesn't crash my chrome browser either. v:v:v

Don't tell him.
robotboy already disabled sp2 nesting
Tried it before it got disabled, it didn't crash chrome only made it eat 8gb of memory. Luckily I had another 5gb free.
If the sp2 is at the beginning of a line, the first letter gets cut off
