is it possible to add a toggle in the user cp for titles? like if you don't want yours anymore just toggle it there and your title disappear/change back to "Gold Member" if you want to keep it, leave it alone or maybe it'd just be easier change all user titles back to default for the person who toggles? i know i'm tired of 48pt bright red titles like "I FUCK HORSES ALL DAY!!! I GARGLE CUM [link to porn]"
Looks like Waterfox got support, didn't realise it had a useragent you could differentiate between Firefox.
Pretty surprised as waterfox doesn't even call itself that sometimes.
What is the Track Messages feature for in PMs? Is it a gold / mod only thing? [editline]15th June 2015[/editline] I get a no permission notice
What is the Track Messages feature for in PMs? Is it a gold / mod only thing? [editline]15th June 2015[/editline] I get a no permission notice
It's a gold member privilege that allows you to tell when a private message has been read.
yeah i think it is disabled gpforums.co.nz has multi quote and it's running vbulletin don't know which version though
Yeah, we had it years ago, but it got removed due to a combination of abuse and garry just thinks it's retarded IIRC.
That's a shame really, would be really handy to have a multi quote.
just hit reply, copy the text, then go to the next post you wanted and hit reply. opens up the same box and you can dump the last one in it's inefficient compared to having a fancy button, but even on sites that have the button I avoid it for fear of it not working right and I lose my chain of commentary. (I'd trust robot to implement it right but it's such a minimal situation that you need to multiquote on FP
I think the only thing I dislike is you lose quotes within quotes, but not that much of a problem and actually beneficial in some cases.

show previous quotes
Yeah, that's probably for the best.
I actually really hate that PMs maintain quote chains like this would be nice to have a nested 'show previous quote' button to pop up for like, the second stage on, or at least be consistent and remove it from pm chains would probably benefit from the same methods that'd make a nice collapsible spoiler thinger (like media tags used to do for images) also tumblr tumblr tumblr format: http://[username].tumblr.com
function modifyQuotes() { var postQuotes = document.getElementsByClassName("quote"); var i, len = postQuotes.length; var toggleHandler = function(e){ $(e.target.parentNode.parentNode.children[1]).toggle()}; for (i = 0; i < len; i++) { var information = postQuotes[i].children[0], message = postQuotes[i].children[1], toggler = document.createElement("a"); toggler.href = "javascript:;"; toggler.innerHTML = "Click to show/hide"; information.appendChild(toggler); toggler.addEventListener("click", toggleHandler ); if (postQuotes[i].parentElement.nodeName !== "BLOCKQUOTE" ) { $(postQuotes[i].children[1]).toggle() } } }; modifyQuotes()
Plug it into your dev console. Hastily created on Opera. Code free to use, etc... EDIT: Cloudfare spazzing out on me and making me to fill a captcha when I posted or edit with this Javascript code. It auto inserts <b></b> in the href part. Gonna pastebin it here http://pastebin.com/X8uAaCrw
Forgive me if I'm late, but what's with the snapping to the bottom of the page when you click on the next page button? It's like it's trying to keep my place, except I just have to scroll all the way up then read back down. Is it my browser or a new feature?
Just you. Home/End keys do wonders.
Wait, so what's changed? Been gone for a while
there's a changelog in the very first post of the thread, you know
Yeah -- sorry. Went to look, things are nice
What happened to sp2?
plot twist: it never went anywhere, its just that no one is respectable
I am a respectavle user
What happened to sp2?
The world was not ready for it.
The world was not ready for it.
And it wasn't ready for the world
plot twist: it never went anywhere, its just that no one is respectable
There are plenty of respected users on the forums. You must just go to shit threads.
It'd be nice that if you clicked "X posted" urls that are on the same page, they'd just jump instead of reloading the identical page. For some reason vbulletin puts ?p=POSTID instead of a page ID with thread the thread number.
What's going on with editing posts I went to edit a post I made 5/10 minutes ago to add a couple more words and instead of editing the post, it made a new post quoting my old one with the changes.
¯&#65340;_(&#12484;)_/¯
Pretty sure that's just cloudfare measures against bots trying to inject scripts. Did any one of you tested the code I posted? No ratings and ignored for 11 hours
Pretty sure that's just cloudfare measures against bots trying to inject scripts.
Yes, but the reoccuring problem for users is that it redirects to a blank page, Trying to find proper replication steps to trigger the blank page is critical to understanding how cloudflare can solve the problem.
Just you. Home/End keys do wonders.
Not just him. It's an issue that happens on Firefox for some reason and (in my experience) only on FP. It's not even something you can reliably expect to happen either. It just sporadically happens for seemingly no reason.
