not like chrome is much better
opera is the best browser
opera is the best browser
says the chrome user [editline]18th June 2015[/editline] YAY THEY FIXED IT
says the chrome user [editline]18th June 2015[/editline] YAY THEY FIXED IT
i was only using it because every once in a while i give in and use chrome for a little while again only to realize how much memory it sucks up
Any chance of including LiveLeak videos into the video tags?
You only needed to post once. [editline]19th June 2015[/editline]
i was only using it because every once in a while i give in and use chrome for a little while again only to realize how much memory it sucks up
Yeah, except the New Opera is the same as Chrome basically. I used to love Opera, but I quit it @ Opera 15, it was just not worth it.
You only needed to post once. [editline]19th June 2015[/editline] Yeah, except the New Opera is the same as Chrome basically. I used to love Opera, but I quit it @ Opera 15, it was just not worth it.
the interface is still nicer IMO
What was wrong with the UA that suddenly Webkit took Priority over chrome?
Would have been the forum error. I don't think all platforms running webkit would swap agents simulatiously Not even steam's updated theirs in ages Doesn't even support 8.1
Development doesn't happen in an instant
naah theres a better version of postals ass just a shame it would get you perma'd
Just PM it.
Could we get an option to hide/show comments in the first page of a thread so that we can read/watch whatever the OP has posted first. It mind sound daft but I don't know how many times I have had content ruined for me because of the first few comments. Maybe have everything below the OP out of focus until you scroll down or click/move your cursor there. Once it's in focus it stays in focus for that thread. Although maybe it is better to just have it come into focus when you have scrolled down enough. It doesn't have to be a feature for everyone by default. It would just be nice to have that options in my settings. Very similar to the spoiler 2 tag which I'm guessing is gone now, welp.
Noticed a different issue on mobile on my end as well, which happened on all of my phones. [T]http://i.imgur.com/QpVzB2W.png[/T] Some posts have the same text size as the quote box, which is perfectly readable on my phone of 5.2", which sometimes happens on posts, but not on the others which you can see below the quotes. Is this caused by how Chrome mobile handles the text or something? Seems it only scales the text up on longer posts like this one. [T]http://i.imgur.com/hIOXwUU.png[/T]
I was gonna post about flagdog since it used to show Spain ( I've never lived outside of California ) but hey, it's fixed finally! Very nice to see the progress this thread has made since it was created!

Is there a way to load a single post? facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=00000 or something?
Would be nice to enable that. Often I want to link people a single post
Would be nice to enable that. Often I want to link people a single post
the upper right of a post links to the post, but you can see the posts around it
the upper right of a post links to the post, but you can see the posts around it
And that's the problem, it loads an entire thread. Sometimes the thread is filled with pictures, and when those pictures load it offsets the browser position and suddenly the person you linked the post to has no idea which post to look at.

Didn't mention why I wanted that feature - thought I could make an userscript to have quote trees.
Just felt like saying good job on all the stuff you did so far on the forum! Its nice to finally have a bit of change after 2-3 years.
Can we remove this thread is it always on popular because people are horny idiots.
Tell that to YouTube.
Youtube is so filled with retarded developer decisions that when they finally do a minor good thing, then it's almost primetime news.
It's both economic and pro-environmental as a dark screen takes up less energy than a bright white screen. There really isn't any reason for a website to not have such a feature.
LCD panels which are what vast majority of people is still using draw the same (if not higher) amount of power on black screen as they do on white screen as the backlight is the same and the displaying is done in inverse - the stuff that should be black is blackened over the backlight. It will help when OLEDs get more common I guess.
oleds wont be more common in the near future, companies are actually stopping oled production because its too expensive
OLED's still got a future in battery powered devices, but the color thing needs some work. One color "dying" before the others ain't good. It would be swell in a netbook if OLED didn't have that issue
Well my point still stands. Vast majority of displays in use on personal computers don't use less energy when displaying dark stuff (unless you tune down your backlight manually)

[editline]20th June 2015[/editline] Oh it's on the Most Incoming Threads list but it doesn't say what search queries they used.

Not sure why it goes through google.com/.ca/.whatever links though
