It's currently 60 seconds.
It would be better if it were 3-5 minutes. Or allow us to edit it any time all the time. Why would that be bad?
It would be better if it were 3-5 minutes. Or allow us to edit it any time all the time. Why would that be bad?
Suprise banmes. Also, can/why can't we get single post view robotboy? And thanks for changing the "# new posts" link
It would be better if it were 3-5 minutes. Or allow us to edit it any time all the time. Why would that be bad?
an older user could edit an old thread of theirs that doesn't get any traffic to have some not-so-legal content and be able to link it to others and have it show up in google search results. i doubt this would happen a lot but it's an issue.
The above reasons. Also - if we edit your title (e.g. SH), we don't want the headache of ensuring you don't try to revert it back.
The above reasons. Also - if we edit your title (e.g. SH), we don't want the headache of ensuring you don't try to revert it back.
Perhaps make it so we can't edit thread titles in specific mega forums?
BigBadWilly posted the chrome extension posts ago
Oh wow now I feel dumb. Thank you for pointing that out.
Make thread titles editable but disable editing if a moderator edits it, to prevent people from changing it back?
Make thread titles editable but disable editing if a moderator edits it, to prevent people from changing it back?
Or just 5-10 minutes. 10 should be plenty for catching any errors you might have made, hell 5 would still be enough time too.
I'd love a way to replace Boostar with some form of points system. No idea how that would get implemented, but it would be good for things like changing titles between long periods of time (months, maybe).

Or just something that was never done?
I say that Gold Members should be allowed to change their own title, since there's currently no way of doing it. it should also be possible to become a gold member somehow, either through donation or postcount / time whatever.
I don't mean to cause alarm or anything but wasn't there something a while back about FP storing passwords in plaintext? Not sure if its true or not but if so I would like it to be fixed.
I don't mean to cause alarm or anything but wasn't there something a while back about FP storing passwords in plaintext? You sure you weren't thinking about the XSS exploit which could be used to grab autofilled in passwords?

Appears it was wrong and your passwords are safe.
Was there ever a problem with bringing back the post count+join date for Gold? Or just something that was never done?
My god this thread is becoming such a broken record
My god this thread is becoming such a broken record
There should be something about it put in the OP, in the FAQs, then just ban if people don't read it. [editline]25th June 2015[/editline] Like the refugee camp ratings
As Robo himself said, "no one ever reads the OP"
As Robo himself said, "no one ever reads the OP"
The bans seemed to work with AUATF, perhaps because it was explicitly stated in the title.
As Robo himself said, "no one ever reads the OP"
I checked last night, and OP hasn't been updated at all recently No one reads it
Alright, banned users now have read only access to the forum in Beta™ mode. Blue members should not be able to see the gold member forum in the ticker now.
That is something major right there
Someone here thought I had an alt because I was browing the forums during a ban Someone hasn't heard of just using another browser session, as 95% of the forum is viewable without an account In particular fast threads requires an account

Why not make thread renames show up in the event log again, that way it's extremely obvious if people are abusing the ability to rename threads.
would it be feasible to implement a website preview if you hover over a link?
would it be feasible to implement a website preview if you hover over a link?
That's browser-side. You'd have to find some kind of extension for that.
While it's perfectly possible to implement in a website, it's probably best to keep it at a client-side browser extension.
