I feel you man, as a Syrian civilian, its a pretty shitty feeling.
Although I migrated out of the country before the serious stuff started.
Not the best feeling that I haven't seen my country/family since 4 years and that my family who's still there is slowly dying.
I will pray for you and your safety to your family, nice to know people don't get stuck in a place they feel discomfort and live a bit better.
Nothing new at the moment, just lurking in for the time being.
Hey man, just wanna say that I've been praying for you throughout this Ramadhan and I hope you'll get out of this shit alive soon. Sorry for the awkward execution, but just wanna let you know that there are people who are visiting General Discussions every day to check on you.

Thank you, am keeping myself up and knowing this I can keep up motivation with pain killers.
Now to the bad news.
Explosions has decided to be the dark side of the moon's rectum and come much more closer, which means every hit is a shake and could be much closer to my end of my life, in explosions.
So basically it's obvious that the peace agreement is, well, never made a blast of success.
so to put this in a summary.
Am fucked.
Did you ever tape up those windows?

Tape up the windows if you can and stay safe.

He's stated before that he has no tape to use.
Today I feel brilliant, even though I didn't sleep for more than 2 hours and I think am turning mad.
Am not scared, have any guilt or anxiety, depression, surprised or even have any sort of emotions at the moment.
I just don't care, am not sure if it's the lack of sleep or I actually took this as a regular thing in my life.
I will keep you posted if something interesting happens.
Yesterday I got knocked out so dramatically hard that I actually woke up at 3pm today.
Nevertheless the news yesterday has confirmed that Aden won against the Rebels, it was so successful that the mayor will even consider going there after tomorrow and pray there.
As much good news as it is, Sann'a is still in control by the Houthis and since Sann'a has a big amount of citizens and we been getting bombed since the start of the conflict, it might prove much more difficult due the fact they can't just charge in with soldiers and shoot everyone unlike Aden, since Aden either had only dead people or people who already left, regardless it's an improvement.
Let's see how the story ends.
As always, stay safe out there.
BTW, does all the explosions and dusts affect the Solar panel? Not sure if they are as fragile as glass or tough like a sheet of metal.
And keep track of your sleep schedule mate. If possible, take a nap every now and then. If you can't seem to get a good sleep, try to close your eye lids and think about closing it repeatedly. It worked for me.

I don't think that is the problem at the moment cause:

It's hailing right now.

Probably a good time to build a sheet metal shield for the panels, after the hail is done of course.
Why cant people just get along :(
Why cant people just get along :(
Because differences.
I didn't picture Yemen to be the type of country that gets hail.
I didn't picture Yemen to be the type of country that gets hail.
Hail isn't a cold weather thing anyway, not really.
Hail isn't a cold weather thing anyway, not really.
Here, hail usually means tornadoes (or the potential for one) is nearby. Probably not a common thing in Yemen though.
eid is friday, hopefully it'll bring good to your situation

I can eat again so it's something, maybe now I can be more productive soon and able to draw more chubby creatures while am being bombermaned.

I've never heard of hail being a warning sign for a tornado before.
I've never heard of hail being a warning sign for a tornado before.
Hail signifies strong updrafts that keep the rain in the air long enough to freeze. Strong updrafts can be a precursor to tornado formation.
It would usually hail before tornadoes/funnel spotting in Indiana.
Regarding the glass window/bomb situation:
My grandpa told me they used to Tape over windows with newspapers during WW2, to keep the glass from fracturing inside.
He even said a thick piece of newspaper can stop some shrapnel.
Hang in there!
Wellll, not to sound like a member of another forum, but since you are in a warzone with an internet connection, it might be a good time to read some Survival topics.
Anyway, stay safe out there, and keep posting if you can. We'll always be here.
Cool site!
They have some articles breaking physics tough:
http://murdercube.com/files/Survival/Energy%20and%20Fuel/Run%20your%20car%20on%20tap%20water.pdf
Here they have created an infinite energy source by completely disregarding yields.
How it should be:
(Electrolyses 50% yield, Combustion engine, 25% Dynamo 90%)
So for every 1 Watt you generate you have to put in 9 Watts. Great system!....
So Today I realise I hate children, well not all children, just the ones with fire works.
Apparently the children has decided to be a useful part of our community so now we don't know if we being bombed or being fire cracked, we told the guards to look out for them and stop them. they barely did a thing.
We told the children to stop it infront of them but they said they promised to stop, Hint: They didn't.
So my mother decided to shout at them and said that she's going to call the Police, they laughed at her and then she came back to me,told me the story and I looked at her with the face of disappointment while my face is filled with chubby chub cookies.
Yemen doesn't have Police Stations, or literally Police Officers.
aside from the pathetic gangs of children, we still being bombed so that's still disappointing.
Other then that there is nothing new.
I did draw a little sketch today.

I miss cheeseburgers.
Today I decided to do something risky.
I went outside to eat Lunch.
So basically I gone outside with a bunch of family members to eat outside for a bit life changing, for odd reasons the streets were filled with cars running, although sometimes I see cars at the middle of the street as a sign of gas has ran out for it, apparently as I also expected that most of the stores are closed as we were reaching to a restaurant that we planned to eat in, it turns to be closed so we took the next best thing, the other Restaurant was filled dramatically, seems like a fire sale to me.
After the crisis and the 2 hours waiting of food we decided to go to a mall, don't ask me why the whole place has barely any stores open and most of it are only chafe, yet it still odd how there is so much people outside, I did find some building being damaged by the air strikes though.
After the hell hole we decided that we should go home, it was night and almost late, so what best time to do then do a tour of all the places that got bombed, somehow the air bombers know where the Houthis hide, several building that been bombed has atleast 5 Rebels dead in them, and then somehow a Farm house was actually controlled by a houthis, over 30 Rebels died in there, and that farm house was at the same street as mine, it cost a huge shakes, and it looked beyond dominated.
Afterwards I realised something, even though it was after 6pm and just a little dark, the whole roads are so empty, with just a few flicks of light, since there is no electricity we don't exactly have streetlights, I wonder how much time did we spend on the Dark like that?
Aside from that I don't really got news other than, Angry Rebels being Angry and going to do a fucking civilization and steal Petrol because fuck Benjamin Franklin.

Atleast I finished this.
A man today decided to strap himself with so much explosives that when he exploded in a empty open wide area, The area didn't have any citizens or buildings, and it just like.
He just exploded, no reason given, he didn't hurt anyone, he didn't blow up any buildings, and no one can know who he was since there is nothing left of him.
I don't even know if it's related to the War, Is just a Man with no motives, just gone.
Suicide Bombers tend not to be the smartest of people.
Suicide Bombers tend not to be the smartest of people.
He probably just killed himself from depression dude.
Suicide Bombers tend not to be the smartest of people.
He wasn't a "bomber" because he didn't bomb anything. This is just suicide.
So I just spotted your artworks from the Creative Work thread. Maybe try taking the artworks near the sunlight so it can brighten 'em up and increase the contrast. Alternatively, just use an ink pen (if you have one) to finish the line.
As for the exploding man, doing that in open space is not a good method of suicide. Not sure if the fuse got lit wrong or he's just out of his mind.
So evidently specialists from the UAE are trying to reopen Aden International Airport. https://en-maktoob.news.yahoo.com/emirati-team-reopen-aden-international-airport-161834314.html
