There've already been some violations of it, apparently. Let's hope it doesn't fold altogether.
Damn, that is some serious shit. Praying for you, man.
Sorry for my ignorance, but how are you on Facepunch if there is no electricity? Does it come on some times and other times not?
I hope you are saying safe dude, if it were me I would just be in my house as much as possible except for food and other necessities.

at least you are doing good for the environment (:
EDIT: Hope a stray bullet/shrapnel doesn't hit those panels, that would suck.

No one respected the cease fire anyway.
Saudi's are still bombing, Houthis are still launching Tochkas at Saudi bases, etc. Reminds me of the ceasefire in Eastern Ukraine.
Today is a Special holiday dedicated to the day Our Prophet was Born.
To Celebrate it, we shall very extremely make sure the flying missiles flying over people houses but not hit them just for fun.
Although seriously I keep hearing missiles but no explosions, where are they heading?
Today our Country's lovely Generation, graduated from the Common Sense Academy.
and they said: *Maybe, MAYBE we should fix up our Electricity Facilities*
Turns out they found over 350 fucking Explosive mines at the building areas, the Rebels apparently hate the idea of *electricity* or *Useful providers* or *I can't pick up Women at Facebook so no one can*.
Hope the workers don't get hurt in the process, we don't need more casualties.
How you holding up man?
How you holding up man?
Aside from the fact a huge explosive went off and caused me to push me over the bed at 5am morning which completely ruining my mood, aside from that am actually fine.
The explosive was pretty odd though, it just happened randomly today, all I got from the crowd is that a Military Complex got hit.
I guess that's how we start a new year?
Rumours has it that there is a bunch of group who serves free food at the streets.
Rumours also has it that the food might have been poisoned.
Take all you can and eat it a while after someone else has
I don't think it'd be worth going outside for something he already has access too and exposing himself to more danger.
Alright I will report what happened yesterday since apparently I was too tired to report previously.
So Yesterday an odd Incident has happened, so basically I was at school, it was time for Break or Recess or whatever you lads call it.
It was basically a usual day, I basically still hated every single person equally due to the fact I never slept well recently. turns out it wasn't a basic day as the windows were shaking and everyone decided that maybe we should go to a safe spot.
so we did, as I went with my Best friend who is also my neighbour, apparently somehow just somehow he came back here from Egypt cause as he described his experience that he did not understand what the fuck was happening in there.
Note: no offensive to any Egyptian citizens there.
For obvious reasons am not going to state his real name so let's just call him Chesnaught because am a very creative man who totally got such a creative name from reading educational books.
as we went down for cover, just as you know the Students are very low in numbers, probably something related to wars and the explosions happening outside so there ain't much students studying in here.
Me and Chesnaught decided to go down with a very useful survival equipments, I held a Chemistry Notebook while he apparently has a half bag of crisps, Basically since am an Idiot I expected that if Terrorists came in, I can just ask them to balance some elements and they would pop up while my friend eats and watches their suffering of their lack of education.
We stayed in a bit, choosing our spots of where we consider safest to be. All the sudden a bunch of boys glazed in their eyes, they look like they forgot the fucking oven is on and the goats will start a world war revolution, They ran outside the fucking door like some fucking India Jones movie.
As I looked to Chesnaught in confusion he also looked at me confused while still stuffing himself crisps into his mouth, they came back rather quickly, it turns out they risked their fucking lives for a fucking Foosball Table. holding it like a holy relic, blazing through the hallway as if they discovered the meaning of life.
From that day they lay it on the floor, and started foosballing, while the fire sparkles is happening outside.
Several hours has passed and it finally stopped, we see through the windows a huge smoke coming out from an unknown area, some say it was another Military Complex, some even say it was a hideout of the rebels.
so afterwards we went home and gone to sleep.
I woke up today, and got a phone call early morning.
All it responded was a Static Noise for 2 minutes straight.
At times like this people would ask themselves outside this war zone if hearing the sounds of the Air strikes in daily basis would become a normal, non-frighting feeling. if am being honest, no one can answer that question.
Dispute my lack of activity of reporting anything of importance, pretty sure one of you would have noticed that I just lurk around the forums, mostly in General Gaming. although these days seems to be something really different.
Air strikes has been more bizarre than it should be, before yesterday, A street that was used mostly connector to get the other streets has been hit at 1am, other then the fact the street was used to connect to other streets it was also close to a College and to a Class mate's house too, a nice little girl, somehow she survived without a scratch.
When I woke up that morning, clueless about the events that happened after midnight, my friend Chesnaught kept talking to me about a huge bombing that literally made him jump into a wall, as I said before I was really clueless so the whole thing sounded like listening to a person explaining a plot from a show I never watched.
Of course I started to believe him when we literally reached the street, it was bombed as hell, and glass shattered everywhere, a door of a saloon has been knocked off, including the sign has been rotated brutally by the shock-wave, but what were they aiming at? it seemed like an only citizen area, there was a College there, fresh mens even, was it a mistake?.
I didn't think much of it later on, I was focusing about my Education, even if I wasn't focusing on it, i was just doodling at least once everyday since I read from an Artist biograph that if you atleast draw anything once a day you will improve, but that's not important in this topic.
At day 1/27/2016, It was Wednesday, since the last day of the school in the week is Wednesday, Chesnaught and I basically hang out in our houses, each week we go to the other, this Week was his house, I had no problem with this at all, since we were Neighbours and we can simply walk to each other homes in a short amount of time.
What started as a casual hangout seemed like a frighting night for one of us, we were planning to Marathon Resident Evil Outbreak, but the Bombs hit us to the point that floors are shaking, windows were close to break, I wasn't startled by it, but My friend did. He tried to calmly ask me to come with him away from this room, due to the how big the windows were, I simply agreed and followed him to specific rooms. No matter where we went, he still heard the explosives, and still felt the windows shaking, never have I seen a person being so afraid to look at glass.
Just staring at him was enough to show that he was afraid, he never dealt with it before and am just standing there not giving a mind about the bombing as if it's just another Saturday night. I tried my best to see if there's something I can distract him, I wouldn't want him to go into a mental break down, so I found a old used Dart Board and a Single Dart. none of us knew how to play the Dart by rules and we both sucked at throwing sharp objects so we simply made a game where the first person who hits the Red Center wins the round.
Afterwards the bombing stopped, and I got a called to leave early before another stage begin hitting us, so I grabbed my Grey Scarf and my Black Jacket that had blue zip lines and headed out into the dark while waving my goodbye to my friend at the door. How can I walk in such a very cold dark street, with no street lights to light my way I was forced to use my Mobile phone flashlight to find my home.
The conclusion of the day is entering my home, activating my solar panels and Write this report, before I fall to my sleep, and hoping not to find a Sociopath created by these events.
So I got a call from Aden apparently an Incident happened.
So I have a cousin there, he visited us once, brought a big box of chocolate and all that, but somehow the poor bastard survived a fucking bomb.
So basically him and 4 of his friends were hanging out, typical young men activities such as listening to music in the car, they basically were celebrating about My cousin's new car. one of his friends asked him to bring a bottle of water from inside the house as a lucky person he is, he went in.
All the sudden he hears a huge explosion from the outside, ran fast outside the door, and saw his brand new car along with his friends fly off the street. dispute the fact none of them have died except for some injuries. somehow grabbing a water bottle saved his life.
It's been awhile, I hope your situation has improved.
It's been awhile, I hope your situation has improved.
everything is boring and time schedules for education is a mess since the effects of the war at the past caused schools to be shut down and delay education for awhile. aside from that, situation seemed to be improved quite alot.
the only interesting thing I did was that I made my own avatar. aside from that nothing to report.
Although, they did say the reason the guards that used to make post stations around the street are gone is because Saudis army might get in and might turn things very, messy.
But I wouldn't say it is a confirmed upcoming situation.
So yesterday night was fun, I was overwhelmed with missiles and sudden start of World War 3.
It was so quiet this week, what happened yesterday?
Any near you or just across your city in general?
Any near you or just across your city in general?
I could say between, not sure I wasn't focusing on that since I was on bed.
although today I saw a huge explosive a bit far away though. it got hit 3 times and was left with smoke, no idea why it was targeted in the first place, but I wasn't at my home when I saw that.
How're you doing at the moment dude?
Has it finally started to settle down or is it still quite a mess?
It's been months and there hasn't been any sort of bombing. schools opened, Stores and Malls are being build and the prices of gas has been toned down dramatically.
At the moment seems everything peaceful. The conflict in Aden has been stopped. although as for us. rumours says they might start a conflict. if am being honest if they going to start the conflict. might as well start at June to atleast finish my finals. I mean I still need a degree afterall.
Also it's been fucking months and no one was able to fucking fix the electricity. Everyone is using Solar Panels. and here's the funny part. people are getting Electricity Bills dispute the fact the electricity has been off for 6 months straight.
So that's about it. I survived a Civil war and basically somehow I achieved the ability to draw cute things.
How cheap are solar panels in Yemen for everyone to use them? In parts of the US, they could be up to half a year's income to have them installed.

That's great to hear! I really hope it stays stable for years to come.
On a sidenote, is anyone actually paying the electricity bills or are they just being ignored?

Pretty sure it's being ignored, who would pay for a service that been dead for 6 months?

Am not sure how to convert Yer to Dollars but for everything including setting it up we basically paid 200,000 Yer (Yemeni rial)
although now that the war has been toned down more, it's much more cheaper now.
