Hey it's been a while.
I hope things are ok, I've really been enjoying the art you post on twitter.
If I can be honest, you're quite a bit of an inspiration to me personally.
You've managed to pull through a situation that truly seemed like hell, and if that isn't a true show of character and strength, I don't know what is.
I spent the whole year suffering from high level of Anti-streptolysin O which I had to endure pain for almost a year living off mostly on Pain killers,to top it off I had to gulp in loads of Vitamins cause I am so weak that most people refer to my face as always sad and miserable And I had to spend a month taking Anti Anxiety pills just to sleep peacefully at nights but this, this made me feel generally happy for myself.
That's the nicest thing anyone ever said to me.

I ddint follow what happened recently in Syria.
So what will happen now? Is there a grand plan or something somebody cooking?

What does Syria have to do with this thread.
The only *grand plan* is the same as four years ago, figuring out a way out of here permanently.
good luck man, and plans of where to go at the moment?

Technically a land called *Not Yemen* would be a nice place to go at.
Be careful what you wish for, a Great Spirit might teleport you into Oman...
In all seriousness, how are you planning to get out? Is there any foreign representation near you?

To be honest there is ways to getting out of here, but there is a difference between going to a place and also them accepting you to be there.
I Could have dealt with it earlier although I do have some unfinished business I need to finish or *figure out* before deciding to actually take action.
It's all about patient at the moment. it's not like time is essential anymore for me.
I'm so glad this thread still exists. You're one tough person.
My hopes are out for ya buddy.
Hang in there.
I'd offer you my couch if I could.
That's very sweet of you to say, Thank you!

How did you manage to misread Yemen as Syria? :v:

Oh shit somehow my mind superimposed syria on yemen
I used to read a tall tale story about a man named 'Umar Umaiyah' who's a trickster who travelled to mecca, syria, yemen in the ancient time, and those countries got jumbled up iny mind. It's a grand story though.

Well before the war they easily accepted Yemeni citizens, and after and during the civil war they seem like they didn't want to take any chances.
I used to travel to Dubai atleast once a year, but it's pretty obvious they stopped accepting Yemeni citizens due to the war.
I would have been wary of accepting any unskilled jobs in Dubai as a foreigner anyway. I've heard bad things about the way they treat workers from non-western countries, it's basically slave labor.
There aren't multiple Cholera epidemics in Yemen. I don't think there are any other in the world currently.

Yemen's cholera epidemic is largest ever recorded, and will only get worse.
Just saw this. Everything good over there?

Sorry I was late, I was taking care of things.
That cholera thing is old news to be honest, we already experienced the fact we all are dying slowly because of that disease, I barely go outside to certain places due to that. but the street am in isn't effected by this as much so we good here.

If you do get it, drink lots and lots of fluids, starting as soon as you suspect you have it. Cholera kills by dehydration. Also, make sure what you drink is laced with a little sugar and salt.

Alright. this is going to be hard.
We got a call from a friend who guards the government's door. we been informed that we going to get hit and that all citizens should be in a safe place before the impact, the time for the impact is unknown.
I might leave my house until it's safe, everyone has came to me to inform me about this situation and left their homes, in case of anything, and if death occurs... frankly I could have had better life than this.
Goodbye.
oh god... I really hope you come out of this ok!

You should probably join those people who came to inform you, and who left their homes. You can leave with them?
I'm sure you're exhausted and tired of it all, but shouldn't let the desperation and insanity grab a hold of you, remember? Keep fighting by any means necessary, like just waking up in the morning.
It seems like the information we got that forced many of our neighbors to run to safety all day has been wrong, we have not experience any impact or explosives.
Now that was an unnecessary amount of stress for everyone, I wonder where the information came from? it spread so fast among the street, I guess it just sounded realistic here.
Well I apologize for any discomfort, back to playing Cave Story for me.
Bullets and artillery and also someone claimed that people walked on corpses outside of a mall.
Gonna update, it's not similar to the last info I got since I actually hear bullets.
that explains yesterday, a group of friends of mine asked me to stay with me cause they were in a middle of a shooting. don't worry they not gangsters or anything, they simply had a misfortune of being in the thick of it.
luckily experience makes me unbelievably calm for this. but we have limits.
update: still the same shit, bullets are being shot as usual although
I watched the news of Ali Abdullah Saleh who claims he hid his army for a long time and basically says he can make Yemen better, including opening airports.
But my expectation is low, so technically am not going to be convinced until it actually happens.
Do you wonder anyone will ever make a war story based on my perspective? surely they have to fill the plot holes though.
How is the food situation there?
I have heard on the news that there is a potential massive famine approaching Yemen if humanitarian aid doesn't get its way through the country

At the current moment it's normal in our side, not sure about the other cities.
oh boy gun shots, haven't heard that in a while. they far away though so I doubt they are close.
gonna update by edit if anything more comes up today.
lets hope this is the last you hear of gunshots for a good while
I am an OSM editor. Can you think of any critical areas were up-to-date maps are necessary for humanitarian help?

I'm sorry but I don't know, am basically living in my house as if it's a vault and I barely even go to any other street. I only go out for either the pharmacy or the supermarket that are very close to me.
all I know is they keep saying they gonna hit almost every street so I doubt that information would be helpful.

Heard it too, they are announcing that he is dead but it's better to wait for more confirmation.
