god speed man ;_;7
I know that you'll make it through this situation.
Just stay safe and good luck!
Current Situations in Aden:
Apparently our Aden soldiers are destroying the Rebels in the Airports, they succeed in eliminating them only to find out the next day suddenly Rebels pop up in the Airport, they Killed them off again and destroyed the Airport until there's nothing, Only to find out that they fucking pop up again, Apparently there was hole routes, big one that is, god knows where it leads that the Rebels are coming from.
Also in Aden there's this famous high class Hotel which is simply named Aden Hotel, it was closed for years, and all the sudden people reported that Rebel Tanks are coming out from that Hotel.
Everyday is like a new wonder to me, Wonder what's next?
How are you getting news from Aden?

Simple, I get calls or call friends and relatives there, also I watched the news whenever the power is on.

Cool to hear rebel scum is getting what it deserves.
Today's news:
Apparently Saudi Arabia had trained Yemeni soldiers who can actually use guns to come to Aden, Let's call them Swats,
They went in the Aden's Airport and wipe the rebels, although no one is sure if there is more of these *holes* where they keep popping up from or if they are actually wiped at all.
Today it rained, it's been months since the last time I seen it Rain oddly enough the gunshots and bombs stopped, as if everyone is taking a moment to enjoy the Water dish on their heads.
I can say atleast it's the closest shower I will ever get.
I wonder where's those so called ISIS?, I haven't heard of them since their announcement that they are here.
Is there any way you can make it out of the city? Do you have any relatives that live out in the country, like at a farm?
Eh why is big strong west pussy out, only dare to bomb even though if you sent the entirety of NATO the shit would be over in a week

ISIS enjoy waving their dicks around. They might not even be there at all, or if they are they aren't anywhere near Aden.

Uh, no offense but why do alot of people think that my relatives own a farm?, as for your question, am currently still trying but basically trying to find a bus with patrol in current apocalyptic war zone is kinda hard
why is it raining hard today, why is the power is on today, it's been a week and all the sudden there is electricity. In a Rain Storm.
I don't think it's anything about you or your family, but I'm guessing an overwhelming majority of people on FP live in a city and their knowledge of "not city" is only farms.
"Why else would anyone not live in the city" type of thought.

Kind of ironic since i might be the only FP person to actually live on a farm.
I don't really have much news about the situations other than it's still bad and no electricity.
I did decide to visit a mall which is on the same street as mine, odd enough the whole mall is running on Diesel, well barely with it since half of the mall is off such like the cinema, half of the shops are closed and even the restaurants workers there told me: We only serve burgers at the moment, you better off visiting some place else.
Although I did find some bullet cases.

Sorry if the images look a bit big, am not a firearm expert but anyone is free to explain what kind of gun used on or caliber this is.
looks like a 7.62x39mm or 5.45x39mm, which is what the ak-47 and ak-74 use respectively. if it is 7.62 then it may be from an RPD, which is a light machine gun that the yemeni army uses
From that pic it looks like a 12.7mm to me.

that's def 7.62X39, most commonly used in the AKM or an AK-47 but those are like relics, at least in the US

Dunno about the caliber, but the numbers 3 / 75 mean it's been made in "Ulyanovsk Machinery Plant, Russia", in the year 1975.
Probably just run of the mill 7.62

highly likely it is for the RPD since that is still in use by the army there and it fires a 7.62

Who's to say it was a soldier who fired the gun and not a rebel or someone unaffiliated. Their army still uses akm's too
Interesting how Facepunch users know about firearms, I would have liked that if I weren't getting higher chances to get murdered by a gun nut.
Today's news is tragic and miserable:
50 people tried to escape Aden by using a boat only but the Rebels blow it up including the people in it?
also there's a small city called Kawkaban is being bombed by the Rebels at the moment.
and am currently feeling sick of eating fast food since I can't cook since am out of gas.
I would really take any ticket out of here, I seriously would.

Houthi's evidently shelled a Saudi town, I also heard about what they did in Aden. Fucking sad, just people trying to leave the fucked up situation... I really hope some chance comes up for you and your family to leave.

You'll make it man, just do what you gotta do to survive, try, as hard as it may be, to keep positive and stay safe.
Sanaa as of around 4 hours ago was under heavy bombardment according to some residents I follow. Stay safe.
If you can't get out, dig a hole or something under your house, stash supplies, and hide. (Only if shit really hits the fan. Otherwise keep looking for a way to get out.)
That's a real bad idea. If a bomb were to hit somewhere close, whoever is down there would be trapped by the rubble.
Sanaa as of around 4 hours ago was under heavy bombardment according to some residents I follow. Stay safe.
Well this is True although I was really tired at the moment of the bombardment so I didn't notice while my mother was freaking out.
Good news, so apparently there's this Russian fellow, really nice old man, who comes once or twice a month to talk to my Father.
His stuck in here with us too, so he decided that he will actually give us a full gallon patrol at the upcoming Sunday, Which is basically the only way to communicate with anyone including this Thread.
Best part, if at // March things don't get better or gets worse he can get us a Private airplane for him and for us to Russia. I never went to Russia before but it's better than anything, Since we have a chance to get away from the conflict my mother and I decided to make an escape baggage, which is basically put the most valuable items that is important to us and actually use them.

Am grabbing my Pro Wacom tablet, heavy clothing for the cold,Several gadgets,Medicine and Personal Things. Can't wait to get out of this Rathole.
Although am Kinda afraid that some idiot Rebel thinks the private Airplane is from the Saudi Arabia and decides to blow it off, That's definitely not going to haunt me while am sleeping today.
awesome, i hope it works out for you
as an American, i'm legally inclined to tell you that Russia sucks, but literally anywhere is better than where you are now
i hope your family can make it out safely
Good luck to you Greninja. I hope that if things don't get better, you and your family can get out of there and to safety at the earliest possibility.
EDIT: It may also be smart of you to remove the date of your potential departure just in case. This is a publicly available forum after all.
March is a long way away
