The conflict in Yemen: everyday stories from a Yemeni Facepuncher

Got it, apparently I forgot I own an Add On called Zen Mate which basically makes an IP from Any country for example United Kingdom so I can actually access websites which I can't here due to the fact it just bans it.
I did that a half a year ago because I actually got sick of trying to search for useful information only to get blocked for reasons which made it harder to fix problems, Probably when I leave this country I will turn it off assuming I will be in another country that doesn't have ridiculous blocking sites.
Is that Russian familiyfriend you were talking about earlier still in contact with yours?
I just hope that you can get out of this warzone soon enough.
If you make it out, come to America. We don't care who you are or where you're from, so long as you work hard and stay out of trouble.
Just don't mind the whiners who think losing TV access for more than five minutes is a reason to call the police (I'm not joking, there are people who do that).

I might meet him soon, although his having as much hard time as all of us here, it's not really an easy task to find a Route out when the Rebels literally refuse to let any Yemenis out and the fact they are also stopping Airplanes from coming

Believe me I have literally experienced Whiners in my short pathetic existence life, one of the reasons I like being Indoors, Here's an unrelated story of the war, one time when I was in Europe a bunch of GR12 students decided to piss off a bunch of guards in a mall and got kicked, and than afterwards they kept whining about at 12 Midnight until a Spanish Lady came out of her Room and Yelled at them, She yelled at them AFTER the Hotel manager asked them to quiet down. The Manager asked me if I came with them I replied *I don't even know them*
Although I appreciate the invite but I have a feeling that I might not be able to go to American, God knows where am going to escape too
Today's News:
Honestly Today I haven't heard any Explosions at all, instead it was a really Rainy day, A heavy rain that filled the streets. It was actually Calming, followed by really Empty Sadness. I decided to go outside and I realised the whole street is crowded, mostly because the Gas Station is offering gas and the Line is covering the whole street which I think I mentioned that before at some point.
As I was walking and grabbing myself edible materials and equipments all the Sudden a Really Huge explosion happened very far away from my street. the Explosion cause a huge smoke that could cover 2 streets in a row. Apparently the explosion happened at a Military location although it also happens also contain a few citizens house which also get hit, after the whole smoke went out it became rain.
And It's still Raining.
I actually was able to grab a Fast Food Dinner which honestly I would rather take that then roasted Chickens anyday, The streets were crowded and people were going to Stores and most of the Stores were open, as if the war just ended and we back in our normal lives.
I did find some Minor News:
A Doctor who was carrying an empty Gas Tank so it can be filled was sniped by a Houthis Rebel for no reason given, followed that with other unfortunate fellows including Children it happened in a City Named Taiz which is close to Aden Which is controlled by the Rebels as you all should know at this point.
I wonder what happens Tomorrow, it's always a Wonder to me.
... If you guys actually serious about making this thread a Art/My dead end Life Thread...
Oi, cut that out. You got enough problems to deal with as it is, you don't need to make it worse by being hard on yourself. You've got every right to be frustrated, but... Just stick to taking it out on your beans, alright?
As much as kind to hear such thing honestly it's really hard to stay positive when you actually have to spend 18 hours a day wondering what unfortunate fellow will get hit today.
Although it's not really a problem since I actually kept insulting myself way before the War as a way of self entertainment which I guess that would make me a Cynical Person.
But hey I got cookies, Am a bit cheered up.

Today's news:
The good news: I ate Chocolate Cookies with delicious chunks of chocolate.
The bad news: am still in war and it's still raining muscular missiles
Aside from the terrible joke, the only real news is the fact that the Ex President Son's house just got destroyed into chunks.
there should be a facepunch care package for you or something
Years from now when this is over, you might want to consider writing a book about all this documenting what you've been going through, even if only as a way to help cope in the long-term.
We're all still rooting for you, man. Even in your darkest hours, you'll never be truly alone. There will always be people who want you to pull through, succeed, and thrive.
Thank you all for the lovely responds, I really appreciate it.
As Today's News:
No explosions at all, all we got was a really, Rainy day, I even woke up and the first thing I see at my window is a pool filled from the rain.
apart from that I was having a low creativity day so I decided to line up one of my drawings so they can actually look more Cleaner.

Aside from that there's nothing new, just a calm rainy day.
Well, no news is good news in this case, I think. I'm not sure how likely it is that things are cooling off there, but one slow day is better than one scary day either way. Glad to hear from you. : ^)
Good Luck mate nice drawing :) all will be fine.
Not sure if you can answer this, but have you heard anything about the supposed "big explosion" that went off?

That's not actually nuclear is it?
That's not actually nuclear is it?
It's not.
Nope. It's more then likely an ammo cache going off, but tons of people have been going mental because supposedly some Israeli jets were shot down over the past two weeks.

Kinda looks like something you'd see in a Banjo Kazooie game.
Kinda looks like something you'd see in a Banjo Kazooie game.
It's from 'Cut the Rope':
That's not actually nuclear is it?
Are you kidding? If that was actually nuclear, that cameraman and everything within several miles of him would be glass.
Not to mention that'd be a huge international incident, and the first time nuclear bombs have ever been used in combat since the first ones were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Kinda looks like something you'd see in a Banjo Kazooie game.
I will actually take that as a Compliment since Banjo Kazooie is cool even though FlandersNed just explained from where that is.
Not sure if you can answer this, but have you heard anything about the supposed "big explosion" that went off?
*Video of Natural Yemeni Process*
Honestly if you never actually experience explosions and you see an explosions this big for the first time you might make a mistake of thinking of one.
That explosion was the Ex President Library, not only did they made his Son Suffer but also they want to destroy his joy of reading, also there's military things in there for some reason. Although am not totally sure of this Information.
So today's news:
The Rebels decides that Hitler was actually a pretty Decent person and decided that they would take innocents Reporters to Areas where the Saudi Arabian are bombing so they can stop bombing them.
Including a very honourable person Who is a Defensive of Minister named Subaihi.
That's all the news for today.
Also the rain was replaced with Explosions so We are back in action.
Also I should mention - the video uploader and people in the YouTube comments are claiming that the explosion was a neutron bomb, which is a bit different than your typical nuke.
Unlike most nuclear bombs, the point of a neutron bomb is to spread lethal radiation as far as possible, rather than blast things into oblivion.
That said, the explosion of a neutron bomb would still significantly larger than what was seen there (blast radius is a few hundred yards), and an EMP blast should have knocked out those cameras. Not to mention we'd be hearing about it by now if an entire city died of radiation poisoning.

Today's news:
Apparently these days we barely having any Real conflict, all the real action is in Aden, so all we get is a really, depression rainy day just like you don't even remember how life used to be outside.
I lost half a year of Education.
My whole friends that I trust are now Separated and might not able to meet up together again.
and to this point I don't even Remember who I was 3 months ago.
Has it actually been Three Months?
it's been almost 2 months since this thread was started, if that's any indication
It's been a few months. I am glad everytime I see you online. I hope this ends soon, or something occurs that allows you to get out.
Today's news:
Apparently the Rebels want America to fix the conflict, even though one of their main banners literally says Death to Americans.
Let's see how that will work out tomorrow.
That's usually how that seems to work. Everyone wants us dead until they think they can use us...
That kind of desperation tells me they're starting to lose.
I find it odd the Houthis are blaming everything on the Americans, when the Saudis are the main guys behind the bombings.
