i really don't understand this thread. why not beer but other alcohol is fine? the only thing i can think is that you don't want to be spotted in a bar with a pint, and a vodka mix or whatever would be easier to disguise? but honestly, what's the point. if you're in a bar with people, and drinking something, it doesn't really matter if it's alcoholic or not, the same will come of it.
if you're just asking for something different to drink at home, i sorta understand your point - i got bored of drinking beers to take the edge off at home, moved on to either wine or gin. drink whatever you prefer.
