I must say, I never really enjoyed these films as a kid. I always found them awkward and often somewhat depresing (in particular, the love elements really made me turn away, but then, being not even 10 at the time, that could be expected).
Now as an adult, I suppose I would enjoy them consdierbaly more.

Didn't really care for the love story shit either, the rest was still amazingly enjoyable IMHO though.

For some reason that didn't apply to the beauty and the beast though. I loved the building relationship of Belle and the beast. Maybe because it wasn't so forced and clean and hollywood smile perfect.
I don't know.

Princess Frog made me hopeful for another "renessiance", or at least a shorter one.

I thought Princess Frog was as good as the older Disney Films.

The biggest shame that Disney's pulling now is that Pixar is being forced by them to create sequels for many of their previous films.
This is what lead to their dispute where Pixar was to leave Disney, but shortly came back after Disney bought the company for a large sum of cash.

They're now making Cars 2, Monsters Inc. 2 and Brave all at the same time.
I think we may be close to the fall of good movies from Pixar Animation Studios.
