I beg your pardon?
I just shave with water, sometimes shaving cream if I have it.
Shaving gel + Gillette Fusion.
I use a high precision lazer to shave.
I just shave when it starts looking messy.

Also it's laser, it's an acronym, which can't be misspelled.

You heard me right boy.
This is the only manly thread on Facepunch.
I just use my fingers to spread the cream.
So much more expensive than just plain bic's though.
i'll just use water and a good razor (gilette fusion). I like it actually, you can do it without getting your clothes dirty (great for when you forgot to shave and want to shave just before you leave). It doesn't mess up my face, especially if you use aftershave cream afterwards.
I only use shaving cream if I got loads of time and there is a special occasion.
Also, aftershave is a must.
I shave every week or so and using shaving cream has gotten too time-wasting for me.
I just go in the shower now, warm up my face, then shave, i can't see if i have any hair spots left, but it doesn't get friction burn after.
And if anyone here on facepunch has one of those small moustaches which they've been growing since birth, just SHAVE IT OFF it looks horrible and if you shave it off, it will grow back faster and thicker, so you don't have those thin hairs above your lip.
The fuck is this, a megathread? No need for such a big OP.
Oh and I shave dry with a simple razor. My skin isn't very sensitive, and I've only cut myself a few times when I was in a hurry.
Electric shavers are bothersome. You have to run over the same damn spot 5-8 times before it's got everything.
With a razor you go over it once or twice and it's gone.
Not with the electric razor i'm using. Clearly, you've never tried a good model. Some models prove effective and some don't.
Yeah I just use whatever in the shower, preferably cream but I can get by with soap.
I don't even use water when I shave, nor do I use a safety razor.
I'm Hardcore.
I'm a little too much of a pussy to try wet shaving. I think I'll stick with my can of white goo.
I just decided to shave with my DE today with out shaving cream to get a little patch that I missed, boy did I pay for that with razor burn.
One thing that I noticed is that my Gillette fusion tends to pull my hair rather than just cut it like my DE razor, tested this on my arm to note. And I need to get some better after shave my old spice stuff doesn't just cut it for me.

Lukeychan you really do not have to worry about using a de razor, all you need to do is be slow with it and not race it across your face. You can use the white goo if you want just shaving cream or soap does a better job is all. You see my Hoffed avatar that is my face after I shave with my DE shaving set. Only thing is that I may miss a spot or two by going too fast and taking my time, but I will learn better technique so that doesn't prove to be a problem for long.
I just put on some shaving cream (if I don't have any, I use moisturizer), let it sit for a a minute. Get a glass of hot water, shave, and apply after shave or moisturizer.
Works just fine. Don't need to make shaving into an half an our affair.
I can use the quick method. All I have to do is make some shaving lather apply it to my face, and use a hot wet towel put it on my face for a minute or so, wipe it off and reapply and then shave.
I do this already, My father taught me it :/ Even got one of those little brushes and the soap stuff and everything. Am I cool now?

I use one of these.
Chicks dig gentlemannes with old-school shaving materials
I'm to cheap to use shaving cream. I dry shave, no questions asked

I know a guy who has one of these and doesn't use it at all, he said he got it just for kicks. Though I would like to try it out one day.
I've been looking for a method of shaving that was better on my face than the goo and a disposable.
Went so far as to look into purchasing a straight razor.
But now I know what I will be buying... Thanks OP. You're the shit.

I fucking hate electric razors. I never get a decent close shave, and it makes my face feel like shit.
I prefer a wet shave and taking my time, simply because I think it feels nicer. I'd love to try a straight razor, but have neither the time or money.

Well you are welcome then. Just look around for razors do not go and buy one right off the bat you might not like it, read the reviews. And get an entire shaving kit including: shaving cream/soap, after shave, and maybe a styptic pencil to take care of cuts. And one more thing I did not mention in OP is that blades will make a difference as well, get a huge blade sample pack to try out different blades. AND make sure you get quality things, the cheap shit may not do so well. An adjustable razor will make for a hell of time because you can choose the aggressiveness of a shave if you choose to do so.
I hope you get some good things and that you have a nice time wet shaving.
I assume that your face is wet when you shave or else it would hurt.
I do this, but instead of shaving cream I put bars of soap in my cup, and soak the brush in hot water and then lather it up. It is a lot more economic than buying shaving cream. :v:
