I've seen the US Army soldiers taking pictures with their camera, like dead bodies. You have any info on that? Is it to proof they killed guys? Or what? Surely is not for 'OH HEY I KILLED SOMEONE' Right?

It may seem like a low wage, but when you take out utilities, food, living quarters, recreation (to a certain extent), you really do keep a good chunk in your wallet.

My sisters in the Army Air Core and she went to Afghanistan a couple of months ago, brought my mum back this mug that said "Afghansitan, been there done that!" (And yes the spelling mistake is on the mug).

OP can you explain the brother hood or mate ship you experience over there with your fellow soldiers, do you think of them as a second family and mates that really do have your back.

OP, you earlier noted about people using various attachments on their rifles such as Reflex, Red Dot, ACOG scopes and grips. How does the procedure of getting a weapon/attachment look like? Do you simply come up to armory and take what most you think fits you or....? Well, it would be funny now if you answered "via rank advancement".
