yes, but if we let the speculations run wild we might either:
-Create a bunch of red herrings
-Set up ourselves for disappointment.
Plus, keeping focus on current definitive clues we have may help us follow their leads more easily and with less distractions.

I may be late with this information but more videos than the countdown videos are now available in 3D.
For example the "How to Ask for Help in English" video has a 3D option if you change the video quality to 1080p HD. I'm finding that more videos with a lot of text have the 3D option now.

I doubt this guy actually opens the channel. Because all the countdown videos are scheduled to be exactly 24 hours apart. Sort of like queue, I doubt he even checks the views...
