Is it this?
A good song, but it's not this. It repeats the lyric a few times. "Is there anyone/anybody out there" and then it repeats the lyric a second time as chorus/background singing.
Gah, this is killing me. I've searched everywhere.
Maybe this? It would really help if you knew the genre.
I remember a pop-rock (think Taking Back Sunday) song from between 05-07 that I used to really like. The album cover was a view (from the water) of an overcast beach with a grassy hill in the background. For some reason the word August seems to pop up, but I'm not really sure. I believe the lead singer had long red hair... I'm positive its not August Burns Red though. Any help?
So there was this band my cousin showed me. I think it was French, not sure. Anyway, they made these really dark-sounding songs about spacemen, with deep, low voices and grim moods created. The song that actually comes to mind actually includes the word "THE SPACEMAN..." something. Any idea what it might be? UPDATE: I found it

They clearly say "Spaceman" a lot of times at this point.
uh i doubt that was it because that is so out of style for me that I would never ask for it. The song I'm thinking about is more like drone, actually. It was a slower and less powerful song. UPDATE: i found it
Came across this video a long time ago. I truly feel bad for the kid, but the second song got my attention: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PADL793gTnI Most of the video is of the group bashing this kid, which makes it difficult to hear. Go to about 1:51 to make your life easier

There's this stock music that I've been looking for for awhile, I've heard it on several TV shows/Commercials. Here's a clip of me whistling the beginning of it (poorly)
By the way I found out what my song was, it was Spacemen and Poets by 32crash. Which ended up being completely opposite from what I was describing
NEW QUESTION: I remember this song my mother used to play. It reminded me of Pink Floyd, specifically DSOTM or Wish You Were Here, in that it was ethereal, sort of. There was a man singing, in a very relaxed voice, and I don't think there was much melody other than that. Some snippets of lyrics: "Maybe I will and maybe I won't..." "doo doo doo... dah dah dah... doo doo doo... dah dah dah..." It'd be GREAT if someone could ID it. edit: REM - Drive was the song
-snip- I can find it.
-snip- nevermind I found it
Short story followed up with what I'm looking for: A couple of days ago I was completely baked and somehow found myself watching Day9.tv live stream. He was playing music before they starting the stream and a song came on I liked a lot. He actually said the name of the song and the artist but I was so gone I forgot the name instantly. I was actually listening to the song and trying to google words or phrases I think the lady was saying but I had no luck. Looking back now I remember very little but I would like to hear this song and more from the artist sober. What I remember: There was a phrase or line that started with "Dust[ing] off...." It was techno or at least had a modern beat made digitally I remember only a female singing no one else I know it's a long shot but I am hoping someone knows the song or artist and can point it out for me. Thanks!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GKWExtOwZk does anyone know the song that plays through out this? ive tried Midomi and it doesn't detect it..
All i can remember is the words "And/Cos Silence is golden" from the chorus. Anyone have any idea what it could be? It was some sort of Rock song or something - not old.
The 'ooohs' in the background at around 1:11. I remember it being a kind of pop/rock song but with electronic stuff. For some reason I picture it being used for sport montages. Recent-ish. Something like Muse or The Killers
style: 90's rock &/ pop. The music had a small amount of electro in it here and there aswell, lyrics: intro(by a group of people) was either "..and we know what were learning bla-bla-bla bla-bla-blaa-blaa-blaaa" or "..and we know that were turning.." (the blas are the length of the words/cords being played) video:video quality & techniqure suggest the 90's, the setting was in a small american outback town, then it goes to inside a community hall where a dozen or so people casually walk up to the stage to start singing the intro. later on in the video clip, theres a stop-motion effect of a guy sitting on a chair with a blue backdrop, changes positions of himself, and the chair, frames progressively getting faster and faster) Probably wont have any luck but worth a shot.
It was a french album, I think. I read about it on facepunch. IT was instrumental music and it was ment to be played in shopping centers. There was only like 2 copies ever. The art had a shopping cart (thanks Hakita) and food around it. Thanks!

I remember having this song on my Spotify playlist a couple of years ago when you could bug you're self into premium etc. and I heard it earlyer in a Store and I am wondering what the name of the song/artist is. I couldnt really make out and remember the lyrics but it went something like "Please cant you love/find me again.. it is raining/I am down in hell" and in the middle of they sung like "Hep hep..." over and over. Hard to describe, easyer to hum. Any help is appreciated.
I'm looking for a band I used to listen to a long time ago. I think it's called "The Posse" or something like that. I don't remember the lyrics other than "Time won't hurt you (?)" followed by "I can't be bothered to let you alone in this world." I remember it was a song I had on my old computer. Likely a song that came with it because it was already in the windows media player library. I've tried googling and using wikipedia with no avail. Sounds like Alt. Rock. Something like Foo Fighters except slower paced. More like "Everlong" or the beginning of "The Pretender" Vocals were fairly similar too. Had a sweet bass line at the beginning of one of the songs too.
I have a small segment of this song, don't even know what I'd start to search for. If anyone knows it I'd really appreciate it. http://www.mediafire.com/?tu785oo2q0at5jv
A music video consisting of a group of children wandering around an industrial district alone, with newspapers displaying the dying out of all adults, and eventually they find a hologram of a woman singing. I don't remember the song or artist.
Anyone find this song yet....??? ***** I'm also looking for another song, its a trance/techno type song... all I remember is that it has the word "Klimax (or Climax)" in it. I believe it is a female that sings it, but I could be wrong. It was a great song! Would love to find it again and hear it all over again. I had it over 8+ years ago easily, and in my files it was DJ Mystik/Mystic or something as the artist... but every search I do turns up nothing. Anyone know/remember this song? Thanks in advance!
