Fix Up! Look Sharp v11: "there's like 8 of us here"
same principle. lame, "quirky" pop culture joke. if that's what you want go ahead, but it's as basic as it gets
I mean it's similar, I guess, but I wouldn't shove them next to each other and say "they're the same thing."
Like I'm not going to wear it around thinking "i'm so fashionable, wow, it's amazing," but seeing someone wear it won't make me think they have no taste, it'd just be alright.
[editline]6th April 2016[/editline]
think about why you're against "wearing ads" but not against wearing a big sign that basically says "look at how WACKY i am everyone haha"
[editline]6th April 2016[/editline]
they're gimmicky. they're immature. they're lazy. they're going to make plenty of people above 25 wonder why you're wearing something from the kid's section. and even if you disregard all that, they're only going to make people laugh (or cringe) once so you might as well just learn some jokes yourself lol
Honestly I think this might just be a "where you live" type deal. Most of my "what people think" bias comes from college campuses, which are rife with people who're just fine with this kind of stuff.
2 edgy, but you'd probably rake in all the tumblr/instagram likes if you copped it
[editline]6th April 2016[/editline]
you could always just hunt around for some old Raf Simons tees if you want a similar style
Believe me, If I had money I would.
y'all talking about edgy clothes?

"Tacky" is fine... when you do it once in a while. When you allocate a lot of your wardrobe to tacky shit, you just become that "l0lso randum and quirkster!11" dude.
An olive bomber, black jeans, white sneaks, and this shirt, can be a cohesive streetwear fit. But I will always think that subtler patterns are much more mature and will be appreciated by other people, and that larger prints just scream "don't know how to dress" to me. Gitman Vintage (I know they're expensive, just using them as an example) does patterns right. Subtle and unique, while also being in good taste.

i'm repeating myself here, but don't go that far (or do because it's your life, yadda yadda)
get a shirt like that, and it might be just what you're looking for. but it might also end up not looking as good once you finally try it on, and stay in the back of your closet as "that thing you wear around the house from time to time"
get something a bit toned down, and it might not be enough (which is easier to work with than 'too much'), but it might also turn out to be just as fun and unique as you were expecting, with the added bonus of not looking obnoxious in a good few number of social situations, and adding a bit of flair to otherwise plain outfits without being full on jarring
get something a bit toned down
and i'm also repeating myself here, i don't know where to buy clothes that aren't plain and also not super tacky
and i'm also repeating myself here, i don't know where to buy clothes that aren't plain and also not super tacky
I think the best way to break out of plainness is to try a little harder with silhouettes and colors
and what is the problem with plain
[t]https://bigfishclothing.co.uk/images/cms/products_3268_0_large.jpg[/t]
it's just... boring you know? might as well put something fun on there
there are ways to put "fun" things on shirts while also not wearing giant pineapples all over yourself

Yeah of course there are, I just gotta find them.

What is up with that "wearing a jacket as a cape" thing
if you're a manchild
when i have a situation like that i go for the "ryan gosling in drive over the shoulder" jacket position
do u also whip out a toothpick and stop talking
Yeah of course there are, I just gotta find them.
yeah best advice here is to just stop being so afraid of branded clothes. you're not going to become a "walking ad", no one is gonna see you wearing a nike shirt and think "wow i'm really glad he wore a nike shirt, i never knew what nike was before"
some brand logos just look cool and are a way of having a graphic-style tshirt without looking like you don't know how to interact with the opposite sex
[editline]6th April 2016[/editline]
note : not all graphic shirts are bad, but there are some god awful ones out there
do u also whip out a toothpick and stop talking

yeah and then i start blasting a real human bean in my car sound system

look around on grailed & buyee you can sometimes find them hella cheap ($25-$50)

wintertime it's -5 to -25 so i always have a full on winter jacket when outside
summertime it's like 10 to 30, and i was mostly thinking about these clothes for the summer
and layering? i need a hoodie so i can take it off/on easily and also keep warm when in transit, so pants and t-shirt are the only exchangeable ones really

it's not really about >"wow i'm really glad he wore a nike shirt, i never knew what nike was before"< but that i just don't care about brands at all, i don't see why the center motif of my clothing should be the brand name, it just doesn't make sense to me
yes, some do but i never remember them or the item in question usually doesn't look good otherwise
i avoid talking to women at all (or anyone else for that matter) due to bad experiences in the past so i'm good :v:

it's not JUST about the brand though, most ~branded~ things have higher quality, more acceptable designs for their shirts as well
and i'm sorry
it's not JUST about the brand though, most ~branded~ things have higher quality, more acceptable designs for their shirts as well

and other ones just do cheap shit and slap an expensive brand on it
i don't think you realize how little i know about clothes. i usually go with my dad to shop clothes just because i don't know jack shit what to buy or what clothing is used when, and honestly i'm not that interested either - but if it means i can get some clothes i think look nice for the first time ever i'm game
branding is stupid
I'm fine with subtle branding if its to show off a brand which is well known (timberlands) but this kind of stuff is silly.
