Ex bundeswehr green olive jackets with the german federal patch are quite cool actually if properly combined with something else. Hell, I even saw it hijacked by urban outfitters, and that kind of stores. I've been trying to for a long time to find one of those waterproof jackets the SAS uses. No results.

I see them all the time in the summer here in Chicago, and they work well with a lot of outfits. I personally wouldn't get tassel loafers, though. Try out some penny loafers instead. White sneakers a la Stan Smiths are also the obvious choice, albeit overdone. I'd rather get something like a pair of Nike Blazers, but that's just me.
