Fix Up! Look Sharp v11: "there's like 8 of us here"

Ex bundeswehr green olive jackets with the german federal patch are quite cool actually if properly combined with something else.
Hell, I even saw it hijacked by urban outfitters, and that kind of stores.
I've been trying to for a long time to find one of those waterproof jackets the SAS uses. No results.
I have no associations with it except that it's milsurp looking, I can wear it skintight, and it's sorta wannabe Bond-ish, so thanks for letting me know what image it summons for you. Anyone else think "nerdy" when they see it? I've had a few people compliment my military influenced outfits lately and they're the kind of people I want to impress, but maybe I'm going too far?
I think it looks fine tbh. But like everyone else has said, unless you're absolutely set on that sweater, I'd shop around some surplus stores first. You could probably find the same sweater for about half the price.

So I got a new bomber jacket. I was surprised I got it as early as I did, it was listed as sold out, then on backorder and it wouldn't be shipping until August, and I got it on Friday. Paid more than I should've, but I'm happy with it
probably gonna order this later tonight in XS

sucks that it comes out to $85 after shipping, but I want one pretty badly and I don't want to scour fast fashion and nordstroms all over for a few months to find a fashion version. trying to fit milsurp into my skinny wardrobe without seeming like a tryhard is scary but i think the payoff could be super worth it.
If you're willing to spend $85 on that, you may as well get this for $50.

But that's....navy and orange...
I really want to get some casual shoes for spring/summer, maybe like loafers or desert shoes or something.
I'm probably just going to wear skinny jeans/trousers and a t shirt with them as I don't like wearing shorts, anyone got any recommendations?
can find these in nine billion variants at just about any military surplus store and for dirt cheap.
But it will have that Milsurp feel and smell to it. I don't see it as a fashion piece, but if you're going to get one for fashion you might as well spend a little extra

please don't get either of those, at least not the loafers. if you want some proper desert shoes, get some Clarks, though their desert boots are more popular (and a classic). if you want some other boots try some chelsea boots, I wouldn't recommend ASOS as the quality is subpar but if you don't want to spend too much they're a decent option. alternatively just get some classic sneakers like some Adidas Stan Smiths or Vans Old Skools, or try and find a pair of Comme Des Garcons x Converse if you want a bit more flair while still keeping it safe

Why would you force yourself to wear loafers and why would you wear a boot durin the summer

Loafers aren't really casual unless you work in a men's club or you're my grandpa. I think some better casual shoes are the classic vans (SK8-His or Authentics)

cheers, but I've already got a bunch of desert/chelsea boots, wanted some low cut stuff for the summer. still I'll take your advice on board bcus I probably should get some new trainers, only really wear my adidas gazelles atm

I was under the impression loafers were in fashion and they don't look that bad. also I live in England where summer isn't that hot & not technically a boot

sorry, I meant shoes in particular, not trainers/plimsolls. the websites I'm looking at listed them as "casual shoes".

thank you
spend up to 4 or 5 times more on it because you can't deal with it smelling different
ok
you need to look in to better surplus stores perhaps
nah Freddi is right
All surplus shops have that same musty/dusty smell, like a shed or garage
Im guessing they smell the same the world ever
whats the quality of topman's jeans like?

I did a speech about Kanye West, I did it standing next to a picture of him in 'almost' the same outfit. Not a serious outfit, just something I did for fun.

Just for speech class, had to make a commemorative speech and I chose Kanye. I just decided to dress like him for fun.

Look around here. Don't buy from the seller 'david' recently his buyers are victims of credit card fraud. Stay on ali and Taoboa links. Users can't comment sellers because the store page would eventually get deleted, so you either have to find them yourself or pm someone.

Tan, leather loafers are fine. I see them all the time in the summer here in Chicago, and they work well with a lot of outfits. I personally wouldn't get tassel loafers, though. Try out some penny loafers instead.
White sneakers a la Stan Smiths are also the obvious choice, albeit overdone. I'd rather get something like a pair of Nike Blazers, but that's just me.
