first of all........ he doesn't have short hair
Really? I've seen a lot of people wearing them, and they don't seem offensive to me. What jean short alternatives would you suggest? I have three or four pairs of those basic shorts like this, they fit me different than this picture and have my kneecaps exposed and a little bit more of my upper leg.
I have one pair in camo print, one like that picture and a blue and a red pair. I was looking for some more variety.
Those are perfectly fine, imo. Generally when it comes to shorts, I'd say avoid cargo shorts and jean shorts.

i have the same problem
if youre willing you might be able to dye your hair to weaken it so its less stubborn
idk if thatd work long term tho havent tried
Step 1: Don't wear them
Jean shorts just don't look good, dude.
I was in Germany last summer and it seemed like EVERYONE was wearing jean shorts, is there something I'm missing in Europe???

I noticed this too last summer. A lot were more on the tapered side and folded once at the bottom. I didn't dig it but I guess Europe does.
first of all........ he doesn't have short hair
he's talking about the sides
wash your hair less & use less shampoo so your hair still has its ~natural oils~
otherwise you'll get that dreaded porcupine afro effect

Poor taste in leg wear?
I also take showers at night so my hair doesn't stick up after a shower and I get to sleep on it, the only problem is that like one time in a month a wake up an look like goku and it fucks up my whole day
Wrong mindset, looking like goku would make my day 10x better.

this is the worst shit when you wake up and it's absolutely everywhere
first of all........ he doesn't have short hair
On the denim shorts discussion, do you guys think something like this is acceptable?

Clothes aren't acceptable

I'd venture to say that we dress better than the average American, and like danjee said it's not like they were frayed selfmade jorts. Not my taste but they didn't look awful.
Turning into a bit of a post teen emo trying to grow out my hair.
Complete with acne, it's like I'm going back through puberty. Probably all the cardio I do.

I know this threads mostly for hair and clothes, but does skincare fall into this circle at all? Was hoping to ask a few questions about chronic dry skin and pores

look through reddit for skincare related stuff, they're fairly comprehensive.

It's honestly so comprehensive and frankly niche to the point where I find it hard to get practical help from the forum. There's never a simple answer to anything from this community. They're all so into health products that they'll rarely ever give a couple off-the-shelf recommendations, and everyone's posted routine is like 4-5 products all from unique, organic, and Internet vendors.
I'm not saying my cetaphil and moisturizer routine is any better, but I don't think a more complex routine would be proportionally more effective.
yeah it's definitely a bit overwhelming, but you'll quickly find that the subreddit plays favorites and will always recommend one brand over another for whatever you'll need. Just look into the basics of what you need and then more specifically in what brands they use and like. It's unfair to say that they don't give you a concrete example of what you should be using or buying because the market for those products is saturated and what may work for some might not work for others.
honestly, go to the dermatologist if you can. I recently got prescribed three things for acne and so far it's been working out great. we'll see how enduring the success is...
