some people do, some people don't
i mean i doubt anyone here is dropping $1000s on resell yeezys but things like ultra boosts ($180) are pretty liked. even other places like r/streetwear the most i've seen spent realistically is in the range of $300-400 for things like common projects (some people buy ramones and geobaskets but we don't talk about them)
i know when i get a few more paychecks i'm gonna be picking up cdg converses ($100) and ultras
resale chicago 1s tempt me sometimes but other than that, all the shoes I'm into are sub hundo

I think I agree if you're buying something generic but expensive (those SLP AJ1s? do you really need CPs instead of Stans?), but I disagree if it's some sort of limited release sneaker with actual personality (anything that 'drops'). Because if you bash on the latter, then you're basically just shutting down sneaker enthusiasm and why would anyone feel entitled to do that.

What's the general consensus on pleated slacks with more casual shirts like a polo or untucked button down? The reason I ask is I've put on some weight and most of my "casual" slacks don't really fit me anymore but I've still got 8-10 suits that fit very well. I'm trying to avoid buying any clothes until I leave Mississippi and get wherever I'm going to because I'm losing some of this weight while I'm down here.
Pleated slacks are a no, in my opinion. You look too much like a middle aged dad. I always shoot for some slim fitting twill pants instead.

Am I pulling off the stubble? I feel like my face looks weird when it's completely shaved.
I've also thought of doing something different with my hair. Maybe just shortening the sides a lot and keeping the top since that seems popular now (if I have the face/head for it).
Also thinking of getting the mole on my chin removed. It's always something I've been self-conscious of since I was a kid.
if you're self conscious of it then sure go for it. Turn the stubble into a full beard

what image are you trying to present?
the whole point of chukkas is that they're a pretty earthy looking boot. it's summer, ok, so why get an overly dark and overly serious chukka boot? look for light tan, sand, light brown.
