my boy took me to zara today, thought it was a women's store but damn they have some nice shit for guys. not as expensive as i thought it'd be too [editline]12th May 2016[/editline] Looking for a simple watch like this, it was $199 in-store, but I could probably get the same thing (not armani) for a fraction of the price online right?
I like Daniel Wellington, nice and simple. Also do some of u guys actually spend more than a couple hundred on nice shoes? I guess I don't know what it's like to love shoes that much
Maybe give a Timex a shot. This one is sort of similar, though the band is a lighter leather. $75 [editline]12th May 2016[/editline] Mbbird might come up with some better choices though [editline]12th May 2016[/editline] Hell, there's a dedicated watch thread, head over there and ask
A little bit cheaper on amazon btw http://www.amazon.com/Timex-Weekender-Fairfield-Quartz-Leather/dp/B0194L66F8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1463183757&sr=8-3&keywords=timex+fairfield
Also do some of u guys actually spend more than a couple hundred on nice shoes? I guess I don't know what it's like to love shoes that much
some people do, some people don't i mean i doubt anyone here is dropping $1000s on resell yeezys but things like ultra boosts ($180) are pretty liked. even other places like r/streetwear the most i've seen spent realistically is in the range of $300-400 for things like common projects (some people buy ramones and geobaskets but we don't talk about them) i know when i get a few more paychecks i'm gonna be picking up cdg converses ($100) and ultras
resale chicago 1s tempt me sometimes but other than that, all the shoes I'm into are sub hundo [editline]13th May 2016[/editline] supreme gts's are another shoe I'd pay resale for
imo spending a shitload of money on sneakers and boutique basics is the dumbest shit you can do with your wage [editline]13th May 2016[/editline] leather, quality denim, boots, coats, totally fine
imo spending a shitload of money on sneakers and boutique basics is the dumbest shit you can do with your wage
I think I agree if you're buying something generic but expensive (those SLP AJ1s? do you really need CPs instead of Stans?), but I disagree if it's some sort of limited release sneaker with actual personality (anything that 'drops'). Because if you bash on the latter, then you're basically just shutting down sneaker enthusiasm and why would anyone feel entitled to do that. [editline]14th May 2016[/editline] certain expensive shoes are bought because there's a culture around collecting rare, flashy shoes; other expensive shoes are bought because you'll get more upvotes on r/whateverthefuck
ok thanks for narrowing in on one of my random examples. I'm sure that was much easier than continuing the larger discussion.
i don't understand these words last two shoes i bought were like 30 bucks each [editline]14th May 2016[/editline] some off-brand, on sale tho. bought them online, arrived this week, and they look surprisingly high quality
i cut the elastic from some gildans, 10x better i never knew about this i even got some cool naruto like headbands now because i can tie the elastic i cut around my forehead
I only popped into this thread randomly so I don't know if you make this post in jest, but just in case: Please do not wear Naruto-ish headbands, at least in public. You'll get funny looks from regular people, and any self-aware weeb blending into the crowd will think to themselves "I'm a loser but at least I'm not that guy!"
firecat is serious 100% of the time, he wears razer gamer hats and naruto headbands, he is the only one who can pull it off and we got mad respect for him. don't hate on our naruto boi. when's your attack on titan coat coming in the mail btw, fire?
I'll be ur side chick for a solid grand
Read that in scottish
What's the general consensus on pleated slacks with more casual shirts like a polo or untucked button down? The reason I ask is I've put on some weight and most of my "casual" slacks don't really fit me anymore but I've still got 8-10 suits that fit very well. I'm trying to avoid buying any clothes until I leave Mississippi and get wherever I'm going to because I'm losing some of this weight while I'm down here.
Pleated slacks are a no, in my opinion. You look too much like a middle aged dad. I always shoot for some slim fitting twill pants instead.

Debating to get me a pair of Chukka boots in either brown or black I mostly wear black and or dark blue washed skinny jeans, so the choice is killing me also tempted on a new spring/summer jacket, either a bomber or a Harrington, mostly wear shirts so im debating on a style to go for

Think this style has suited me throughout winter, so trying to change things up for the summer https://www.topman.com/en/tmuk/product/black-chukka-boots-5105742?bi=0&ps=20&Ntt=chukka - black chukkas (got this weird ass blue lining around the tips tho) https://www.topman.com/en/tmuk/product/trigger-black-suedette-lace-up-chukka-boots-3514794?bi=0&ps=20&Ntt=chukka - all black chukkas http://www.topman.com/en/tmuk/product/brown-chukka-boots-5105749?bi=0&ps=20&Ntt=brown%20chukkas - Dark brown chukkas, leather padding on the backs
don't get chukkas in black
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/iwq9eH0.jpg[/thumb] Am I pulling off the stubble? I feel like my face looks weird when it's completely shaved. I've also thought of doing something different with my hair. Maybe just shortening the sides a lot and keeping the top since that seems popular now (if I have the face/head for it). Also thinking of getting the mole on my chin removed. It's always something I've been self-conscious of since I was a kid.
if you're self conscious of it then sure go for it. Turn the stubble into a full beard
don't get chukkas in black
go brown then ye? any ideas on a decent spring jacket/coat? You can see my build on that picture

Is that you?
go brown then ye? any ideas on a decent spring jacket/coat? You can see my build on that picture
what image are you trying to present? the whole point of chukkas is that they're a pretty earthy looking boot. it's summer, ok, so why get an overly dark and overly serious chukka boot? look for light tan, sand, light brown.
Is that you?
no im fresh
