is tattoo talk appropriate here?
what does that even mean
"your shirt looks like shit bro"
"you look dapper today"
both of those change how you think about your fit of the day
i think some rick shoes are cool especially tech runners, sent it to my friends and they said they look like transformer shoes but i still think that i could make them look nice
my friend always called my tech runners door stopper shoes, just got another pair in the mail (black & white pair) and he actually likes them now so w/e
[editline]21st March 2016[/editline]
if autism had a shoe it'd be ozweegos tho
i still like them but (regret selling my pair now)
when you wear ozweegos or tech runners, sure there are people that don't get it, but there will be a few that do, and those are the people that you're dressing for
I think dressing for oneself is an almost nonexistent concept in reality
tech runners aren't really something that appeal to me but I can see why people would like them
but I'll never understand ozweegos. like str8 up skechers tier
feel like if i went to like an elementary school it's what all the kids would be wearing
they look nicer in person & on foot than in pictures imo
also half of the colourways for them are trash
Just got a couple of skateboarding shoes from Lakai, pleased with them so far. I think they are fairly fashionable, but I got them primarily as shoes to skate in, so it was function over form. Apparently they are just about the most durable skate shoes under $100 but we'll see how they do. I paid 80 bucks for the both of them.

I wouldn't say they're fashionable, but if you just want them for skating then it doesn't really matter
if you want some decent skate shoes that double as fairly fashionable sneakers then get some premium old skools or something (full suede model none of that canvas shit b/c it'll tear with one ollie)

K I'll check them out, I was honestly thinking of looking into Acne because that seems to be their thing, but I'm not prepared to spend super premium on a brand name just yet.
What about beanies.
Like, really big ones.

My association with this style in California is really trashy people and the literally homeless.
This is what danjee was talking about when he says the way other people experience your clothes actually matters. Image is cultural and largely universal (per area). That's not a good image.
The jeans? Nah
2day

too skinny?
I think the limit of skinny is not being able to take them off like what happened to that guy on /r/streetwear
Skating on a budget, my ollie got like 6 inches higher fuk u.
no it's just like, you just made a post about how you don't like that this thread doesn't respect personal style, and then you go and post shoes that you know are middle school level, or at least low-effort/no-thought.
I don't think I'll ever understand what these bizarre idea of style is.
Nor do I understand rule 2 under hygiene as what does hair length have to do with anything?
i have very curly hair, like a wild afro
i like the way my hair looks when i step out of the shower, but not when it's dry
what do i need to use to keep it like that p much all day?

Seconding this question. I've used american crew fiber for a while to just roll with a clean bedhead look for about a year now, but i'm interested in knowing what other people do.

I don't like constantly falling and hurting myself when I skateboard, but I want to be good at it. So I still do it.
I got a few compliments on the brown ones today, I ordered them into the Zumiez store from online and the guy working there offered to buy them from me when I picked them up. Thought someone here might appreciate them.
And like I already said earlier, I don't personally mind the criticism. I've learned a lot from what you guys like and don't like and why you don't like what you don't like. The pretentious way in which a lot of it is said is annoying to me, but there are plenty of activities in life that I participate in that have annoying aspects yet I still do. Not going to stop doing something I generally enjoy just because one aspect is shitty.
