Too long/big? [t]http://imgkk.com/i/-t5t.jpg[/t] Also I've had my Carhartt hoodie for about two weeks now. Very good quality, you can tell its constructed well. There's no seams over your shoulder so it drapes quite nicely. Keeps you nice and warm as well. It's about 40* F here right now and raining and I felt cozy, dries quite quickly. Only things I can complain about is the wind bites through a bit so you'll have to layer something over it of course. The cuffs have some loose stitching and the tassels are plastic rather than metal (curiously enough the holes for them are metal, dunno why they didn't go all the way.) The interior fabric was also a bit rough on first wear but that went away quickly. But all in all quite happy with my purchase, especially my first expensive one being a brokeboi. (pics http://imgur.com/a/AMufq )
The jacket looks nice, its just a winter jacket, but what are your feet wearing?
Where can you actually source baggy flecktarn jackets like that? I've had no luck looking and feel I'm more than likely using the wrong terms and looking in the wrong places.
What's the word on hats beyond snapbacks? There's a record label I'm a big fan of asking for merch/apparel designs featuring their logos and I've wanted a hat with their logo for the longest time but they don't sell any that and they don't really sell any great apparel anyways. im just going to mock up a quick design in GIMP. flat peak or 5 panel's seem like a good idea, probably should throw a token baseball cap in too.
The jacket looks nice, its just a winter jacket, but what are your feet wearing?
It doesn't have the liner so I'm not sure it will hold up for winters, not a problem since I'll be layering under it. As for my feet, they're slides that I wear in the house.
Where can you actually source baggy flecktarn jackets like that? I really hate snapbacks, mostly because of the whole label whoring thing, but like normal baseball-esque hats are cool with me.

Decided to dip my toes into the world of sneakers to see what the fuss is about. After browsing some of the larger store's online inventories, I can reaffirm my previous opinion that it's all pretty wack. All of the most "popular" shoes I didn't like, while the only redeemable stuff I could find were classics, so like stan smiths/superstars, or really weird outliers that are apparently not liked. Returning to my own fashion bubble of "post-fashion stylings."
all shoes are ugly, they are redeemable if they arent flashy stuff and really just plain
[t]https://i.imgur.com/W5LDK0H.jpg[/t] best shoes
I made the superstar version of those using the adidas editor a while back and I really don't understand why everyone doesn't own pale pink shoes.
Because people like other colors? It's not exactly a mystery, I would never buy pink shoes period.
Howdy, I definitely am not as fashionable (both in practice and knowledge) as you guys but after losing a bunch of fat I now have enough confidence to start taking more care of myself and since my current shoes are well "slightly" old and worn out I decided to start with them. (I've also got better fitting clothes on their way) I've always had black/dark grey shoes and for the last ~15 years I've gone for the "puffy" skate shoes, that said I still wasn't ready to go for more formal shoes or white/light colors but I wanted to go for something a bit more "refined" than what I used to use and also try some color. So after looking around I've got these (both about half price). Supra Stacks II [t]https://i.imgur.com/0AOYMXA.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/SfrfSBa.jpg[/t] Supra Vaider [t]https://i.imgur.com/9Aotb55.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/yX8VyZV.jpg[/t] And for comparison my almost 10 year old shoes. Globe something, disgusting I know, at least they don't smell. [t]https://i.imgur.com/9uQdPSv.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/CppBMzF.jpg[/t] Am I improving or regressing (a part from not having broken shoes of course)? (for context I'm going for a casual but not fat slob like look, jeans, chinos, henleys, button ups, sweaters stuff like that, coming from baggy/too big jeans, tshirts and hoodies)
Samba's are awful because of that stupid tongue imo
Oh man I didn't know that. Silhouette looks waay better.

They work with any outfit, or style, so they do not force you into subgroups of fashion. There are tons of other ones from other brands but these are just examples.

If you're not ready to break away from skate shoes tho, I personally rate Vans Old Skools and Nike Janoskis. Stan Smiths are also not a bad shout for tennis shoes. They're definitely verging on overworn, but they're a pretty safe bet and relatively versatile
So at work upon the granting of a NASA contract or confirmation of a launch slot we usually make emblems for our work. Stuff like this, more about our product/tech than the actually awesome mission badges astronauts get: [t]https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/f2/49/23/f24923a90c04495ce526657bf7b73019.jpg[/t] I've got some of my work going up to the ISS next spring, and another launch for a network of satellites after that. I wanted to give my grandmother the image files and have her make embroidered patches out of them, but I'm wondering if there's anywhere I could put them without looking like a complete dweeb? I'm thinking of getting a new backpack, and sorta liked the look of the Timbuk2 Aviator. Would sewing them onto that be not-hitler? This is also, without any denial, partially about me getting to brag about my job on my backpack but I also think the patches are neat and unique in their own way [editline]25th October 2016[/editline] Also the only other people at work who do fashion stuff are 3/5 women, the one ambiguously gendered software person (I like this person a lot but they confuse me), and somehow our weird COO who either wears a utlilikilt or looks like he dressed really well. Otherwise, cargo shorts and cargo pants and graphic tees and tennis shoes oh god why
You're in luck because NASA shit is the newest trend. Most people put them on chucks or sweatshirts. https://i.imgur.com/9zAnLCN.jpg https://i.imgur.com/TPmAK8v.jpg
What you guys think about either of these two coats? The other one is very clean looking, but I'm a sucker for puffy winter coats. [editline]26th October 2016[/editline] As seen here: [t]http://i.imgur.com/2DPgR1P.jpg[/t]
Any common winter outerwear pieces? I'm desperately in need of them. Not sure what to get, I've got an Olive bomber that's pretty hefty, my Bundeswehr parka (needs a liner tbh), and two hoodies. I cleaned out most of my wardrobe to start anew and its pretty barren. Was thinking of getting this North Face jacket to wear over hoodies for the winter wind.
If it's an Alpha Industries bomber, you should be okay temperature wise. I tend to wear either one of two leather jackets, the puffy jacket in the post above and a wool camel coat. Layering isn't a bad option either
I'm wearing a hoodie under most stuff (flannels, my thinner parka I mentioned) but sometimes it's not enough when you factor in the wind chill which gets to single digits in the dead of winter. The bomber is a cheap H&M one so, it's not that great. I've been trying to invest in more mid-range clothes for quality now and get rid of my old shit. Anyways might just cop this jacket . I don't see that many people wear Carhartt but I like their style a lot and they're work clothes so they're no doubt gonna be good. Still interested in hearing if anyone has any recommendations.
I got the Alpha industries bomber and it's dope as fuck.
