Fix Up! Look Sharp v11: "there's like 8 of us here"
I'm moving and want to re-buy some of my wardrobe since I'm less frail and fat. H&M shirts fit me weird, they're made of weird polyester, and fall apart pretty quickly from experience. I need some sturdy basics because I'm a frugal jew and buy to last. Can I get some recommendations for the following?
Tee's (Basic colors, Black, White, Grey, Earthtones, etc.)
Flannels (I've bought a few but Uniqlo were probably my favorite for price-quality wise, I'm open for suggestions)
Shorts, I fucking hate finding shorts, either they look weird because they're built for lanky people or they look like garbage bags. Dunno where to find some for a more athletic physique
If you want better quality in basics but don't mind used, check that basics tab on Grailed. I got a Ralph Lauren Wool flannel for $14 . I've seen other good items listed cheap with few claimed wears.
bought some new trainers x

Hey I dunno where to post this but I think it fits here.
So I need some advice on what to use to get a neat shave without cutting myself, I use foam but not even foam and more expensive one time use gilette cut it anymore.
What do you recommend that doesn't cost a lot?
I wrote a Converse One Stars review, you should read it if you're looking to get the Tyler x Converse collab

Those jeans are too baggy bro
theyre friggin bootcuts bub, in some places of the world you gotta sacrifice style for practicality.

speaking of practicality, is there any sort of 'bulky, practical' trend going on in the fashion world? Like vests, thick flannel, boots? I dont keep up with fashion much but if i could update my wardrobe a bit while keeping considerate of the fact its almost fall and i live in new hampshire, thatd be sweet

Would you guys recommend Asos jackets or are they kind of shoddy?
depends on the jacket, i got 2 and they are both amazing
Okay, so I'm looking into getting a new fall/spring jacket and I'm leaning toward either a Harrington style jacket, these in particular:

Every one wears Jean shorts here. Help.

do it, nothing looks "too dated", basically when you buy clothes you shouldnt care much about what others say. Just buy what you like, people will usually agree on it.

Keep the beard, or get rid of it?
On another note, is the open-collar work shirt like in the second picture kosher these days? It's been my look for years, but I've no notion if it's good or bad.
The look is fine, I mean it's not the most exciting look, but it's a good one and you pull it off well.
Also I dig the beard.
I picked up an APC shirt and Rag & Bone work pants for $50 each. They're both around $200 retail

Finally got around to taking an outfit picture properly, thoughts on the fit?

I think it'd be better if you had more matte boots or shoes, the docs just stand out so much for the fit.

Yeah, I felt they stood out a little much. What would you recommend? Colour wise or footwear in general.
Whats wrong with standing out

looks good. also since when are you blonde wtf
Starting to jot down a list for new fall outfits. Could this combination work on a white man of fairly average build and stature?

Friend told me I need more color in my outfits. Will pair with unassuming dark brown boots and wristwatch to match my equally unassuming hair.

Since Saturday :v: I'm surprised you remembered my face though honestly, haha, cheers though man.

Nothing, not to me anyway. Though if people think something more understated would look good I'm open to suggestions.

Here's a fit pic from today. Scored this personal grail I've been trying to find for a while now; In n' Out employee varsity jacket. Everyone seems to love it too which is a plus.
Thoughts?
