He needs jeans that actually have a decent fit and don't look like they're fro 1973 so tell him to go to Levi's and get some help from the staff in there, they are always super helpful and friendly. The denim jacket can be replaced with a basic bomber jacket. If he insists on wearing a hat he can replace it with a simple baseball cap.

OK SO for Christmas someone got me a leather jacket. It's a nice, well-built jacket but I feel I'd get a lot of weird stares if I wore it in public.

The worst part is that the gifter went through a lot of trouble and money to pick it out and surprise me. I just don't like how it looks on me. I didn't even want a jacket. I'll give the all-black thing a shot, but I don't think that'll bode too well either. I guess I could use it to be a low-effort Deckard for Halloween next year :v:

For example, if you had tighter fitting jeans, some stylish boots, and a stylish sweater, it might look slightly out of place, but you wouldn't look like some sort of neckbeardy guy or anything I don't think. I'm looking for a nice hat. Any suggestions on where to look? Preferably not a ballcap, and I have some beanies. Had a flat cap a while ago, might want to get one of those again.
