The Vow 6/10
Wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, and the ending definitely wasn't as bad as critics had been making it out to be.
This Means War 6/10
A take at romantic comedy with action thrown in. It had some funny moments but was overall predictable and felt lacking.
Unsure why I got rated so many boxes without an explanation as to why my my review wasn't logical.. Someone care to elaborate?
Did you just give Temple of Doom a 9 out of 10?
MiB3
7.5/10
Yes, I did. It was my first Indy film, and I love all the chances it took. It wasn't just the same thing as the first one again, and in my eyes, a lot of the changes worked.
I love the dark tone of the whole thing. Some people complain about Willy and Short Round, which is understandable, but to be honest, I kind of like Short Round. Willy might be annoying, but she's not boring. She symbolized the classic "damsel in distress", and I thought it was a neat idea.
It seems like people either love or hate Temple of Doom. I love it, but I can see why a lot of people didn't like it as much as Raiders.
No, people universally hate Temple of Doom (and for a reason).
I watched the Indy movies long ago, Temple of Doom is the one with [sp]the guy who rips people's hearts out,[/sp] right?

universally, people find jokes funny.
What was wrong with Temple of Doom? It seemed just as good as the other Indy movies (excluding crystal skull obviously) to me
Moneyball: 8.5/10
Bobby Kotick is a surprisingly decent actor.
The Avengers: 6.5/10
What was wrong with Temple of Doom?
People can't get to grips with how absurdly awesome it is.
I like parts of Temple.
I enjoy the beginning in Shanghai. I enjoy the idea of the secret cult underneath the palace, I'm a sucker for things like that.
However, I don't really care for Indian voodoo stuff, and much more prefer Egyptian/Christian-Judeo/Mayan stuff.
Yes, I enjoyed Crystal Skull more than Temple of Doom, simply because Temple of Doom has always been the worst of the trilogy imo.
Cinema Paradiso
Delicate story about an Italian town with the appearance of being stuck in time but its only when you leave for a while you realise things do change. So much can be taken personally from films like these, they make you question your own life. Outstanding film which felt similar to 'Life is beautiful' which was also an Italian film. This is one for the film lovers, meatheads stay away.
God Bless America
9/10 , felt kind of short, great film though; really enjoyed it.
Haywire
7/10
I'm a big fan of Soderbergh's work in terms of the cinematography. His use of montages to move the story forward is brilliant, that and the soundtrack is always top notch. However, the story was good but lacked a little; you never felt that the protagonist was vunerable even when she was on the back foot.

Crystal Skull was a pretty good movie but I can see why people didn't like it, it just doesn't fit with the original trilogy. I remember reading that some fans [sp]thought that it was all in Jones' head as he slowly died from radiation poisoning[/sp] which actually makes sense.
Is Iron Sky worth watching?
The Raid Redemption
...
Holy shit, that was by far the best, craziest mega-fighting-killing-yelling film I've seen in a LONG ass time.
Most notably the Mad Dog versus the two.. How in the fuck they didn't run out of oxygen in that room? And when the Mad Dog finally died, he but enraged and almost killed his two killers.
Is Iron Sky worth watching?
I thought it came off as a bit of a 'the trailer contained the only good bits' kind of movie..
american beauty
in the end of the movie, the final monologue. what kevin spacey was describing happened to me, moment for moment, word for word.
a large pit of emotion welled up like a balloon in my heart but then i let go and beautiful catharsis washed over me.
kev doesn't really ever play "people" per say. he's always seems to play personifications of some kind of force.
that's what's always so great about kevin spacey. you can give his character so much depth, know their innermost secrets and yet he manages to maintain at least a certain degree of enigmatic mystery with his characters. a sort of ominous tone that just comes from his presence and his hypnotizing gaze.
Man On Fire 9/10
Simply one of the best if not the best movie of Denzel Washington I've seen. The ending made me cry when I watched it first time. The acting and the soundtrack is amazing, this movie holds a special place in my heart, it's so emotional.
The Divide
15/10
The best movie I have watched. Period.
The soundtracks are amazing, The sets and action is amazing, the story line is just ecstatic. I recommend this to anyone.

It was alright, but 15/10 good? Not even close.
Besides, you haven't seen a lot of good movies if you find The Divide the best movie ever.

seriously? i mean it was alright. a 6 maybe. as for plot, it barely had one, everything in it had been done before and it didn't do them better.

mind you, those are the same people that will tell you that inception is one giant dream, that there are two matrixes, and that there are only three Star Wars films.
aka, butthurt fanboys.
I liked crystal skull a LOT on opening night. After repeat re-watches it got a bit less effective.. it's not very rewatchable imo.
But that being said, there were a few worthy scenes, e.g. chase through the university, interactions between characters.
Some of the action was WAY overblown and a mess, and some a bit more of a rehash/tribute than anything new.
I personally think of it as a tribute rather than an actual sequel of the first three. The first 3 fit superbly together.

Was just a joke, I guess a really shit one.
Star Wars Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi 9/10
great movie
The Road 10/10
I genuinely cried.
The Raid Redemption
8/10
If you like fighting, watch this one. It's as simple as that.
The Divide
3/10 (only because the beginning was somewhat promising)
I couldn't even watch it all, it was so bad. It was basically emotional torture porn.
