The Fugitive 8/10
The story was quite simple, but really intrigueing and the acting was top notch. Had a fun time.
Harrison Ford is a master at running away from people and sweating.
Man on Fire - 6/10
Not a patch on Taken, the lead was not an interesting character, and events felt oddly disjointed.
idk why people like taken so much. its the worst
Taken was fun but Taken 2 sounds terrible will not see its his daughter saving him I think wtf
taken was a geriatric bourne movie but with paper thin characters and a stupid senseless plot
yea but it was p enjoyable to watch I mean I didn't go in expecting a masterpiece or anything
I dont think Taken is that good
I cant say I hated it, though
taken is good because neeson is an old man running and hitting people.
taken is good because neeson is an old man running and hitting people.
Same reason I like Harry Brown, An OAP going on a chav killing spree.

this is the only reason anybody likes the movie and its a terrible reason to like something

and liam neeson is insanely overrated. i mean, he's good. he's just not that good. plus hes in tonnes of fuckin garbage these days. he was in battleship for fuck sake.
I liked the action in Taken because it felt different compared to every other movie in the same genre. Like, more raw and gritty I suppose.

So what. Tons of good actors have been in poor movies.
I'm not sure how you mean overrated, you mean "overliked" which is kind of a dumb view.
His best performance imo, is Kinsey and nobody here has seen that.
I'm honestly not sure why Liam Neeson is in so many bad movies
Neeson has done a good cross section of characters from ex-CIA to sex scientist to Nazi industrialist to IRA head and more. I can't remember a performance from him that blew me away but he has a good mix of good and bad films as most actors do.
AK's recommendation of Kinsey is a good one, it covers the changing public perception of sexual matters becoming more openly discussed and the science of its behavour. A film like that always slips past the radar.
i watched project x. it was really really bad (revieww) and i give it a 2/10. don't watch this movie if you have any semblance of human decency
then wouldn't that be a 1?
why is it 2 instead of 1?
or is 2 "don't go see this" and 1 is impossible because you clawed your ears and eyes out at some point in the movie
Iron Lady was great, I don't know why roger ebert gave such shit ratings.
Really sad about Margaret's life.
Are you British?
Prometheus: A few flaws but otherwise brilliant.

Is actually a prequel to Aliens, or barely associated, other than the Weyland-Yutani connection?
more than barely

I can't believe that all these events were caught on camera. That's all I can say.
Watch it if you haven't.

well look at it this way
the hangover is 5/10 because it wasn't any good
the hangover 3 was worse so it's a 3/10
project x is even worse so it's a 2
and a 1 would be something that's unwatchably bad as opposed to borderline watchably bad. i don't even know what would be a 0. maybe sucker punch lol!!!

Because it contained boobs.
Because it contained boobs.
no, its plethora of pointless and sexist objectification contributed negatively to it's score
Prometheus
8/10
Not as scary as I thought it was going to be

I was asking that guy because he seemed sympathetic of Margaret Thatcher, something I can't believe someone who lives here could do.

Only the working and middle class dislike her. That's only like 95% of Britain.
Let me see if i still remember the British social classes:
Lower - modern Slave. No ones property, but not their own. Suicidal. No teeth
Working - Trivial job, no life, no teeth, possibly depressed.
Middle - may own a house or rent one, trivial job, low income, has family and social life.
Upper-Middle - Owns their own place, still lives as a family, Non-trivial job or self-employed, good income, posh kids who act in Harry Potter. Otherwise known as Politician Class. If the fortune is inherited there's a high chance that they have no idea about how life works and is clueless about society in general.
Upper - Rich as all fuck, Possibly Titled. In case of title, crooked as fuck teeth and inbred through 15 generations or just fucked a prince of wales and got the title in a divorce settlement... or fucked the young princess in the 50s.
